"...you sure this is gonna work?" Blake asked as they approached Ren and Nora.

"Trust me Bellabooty," Yang grinned, getting a minor glare from Blake. "There's no way Nora is the kind of girl that would say no to what I'm gonna suggest... And Ren's gonna jump on any opportunity to avoid it from what I've seen, and there's where YOU come in."

"Let's just get this over with..." Blake sighed.

They reached the two. "Well hi there!" Nora said excitedly as she saw them, Ren looking as bored as ever.

"Hey Nora, you seem like a fun loving girl like me," Yang smirked. "Wanna go shopping with me?"

"Shopping!?" Nora asked, perking up with sparkles in her eyes. "Sold! Come on Ren!"

"...why do I have to come?" Ren deadpanned.

"Someone needs to carry our stuff!" Nora said, grabbing his arm.

"...carry it yourself," Ren grumbled, but it was clearly in a resigned tone, like he was gonna go along since he suspected there was no escape.

"Actually Ren, I was wondering if you wanted to join me in the library... I could use a study partner, and you seem like the quietest guy in our year.

"Sure," Ren told her in his usual reserved manner, though he was inwardly celebrating as he mentally dove headfirst at the provided out.

"Eh!? You aren't gonna join us shopping!?" Nora protested to Blake.

"Eh, leave them be, Blake's a bit of a bore anyway," Yang said, earning a slight pout from Blake. She knew Yang was just putting on a ruse, but that was still a little hurtful.

"Hmph, fine," Nora pouted, crossing her arms as she headed out with Yang.
