Does the lamp take her in immediately?
YES!
Being Amazonian she is able to decipher the Arabic inscription engraved on the lamp, there are a few words Wonder Woman cannot translate but all in all it seems harmless...no danger to herself or anyone else. Reading the inscription aloud while rubbing the lamp a black cloud of smoke engulfs her sucking Diana into the lamp's spout, she screams but they are muffled!
Her screams reverberate and echo off of the spout and walls as she lands on some pillows, she's a prisoner of the lamp but not for long. Very soon she'll be free, crossing her bracelets in front of her Diana builds up a powerful shockwave that when released will shatter her prison to smithereens, letting it loose the powerful blast of energy bounces of the wall and hits her hard...and I do mean hard sending her flying against the opposite wall rendering the Themiscirian Demigod unconscious!
Lying there in a crumpled heap she says, "lamp...must be forged from...Amazonium" (the same material as her bracelets) before losing consciousness.
When she was pulled inside the lamp it's internal walls acted as a mirror to her bracelets, the lamp redirected any kinetic energy she exerted right back at her, she hit herself with that exact same impact she put out!
