Working On A Script

Patrick and Zack were finally getting around to working on the script for their movie. They had wanted to bring in Madison and Rory to help them out, but Rory had been busy today, so it was just Patrick, Zack, and Madison working on it. It was coming along as they had to move a couple of characters around from what they had talked about when they first came up with the movie idea.

“How did Asa take it when you told her that you wouldn’t be her boyfriend in the movie anymore?” Madison asked.

“She took it fine. Especially when I told her that I would be pairing her up with Paris since the two of them have been getting close lately.” Patrick said.

“Yeah. She and my cousin seem to be hitting it off really well.” Zack said.

“So, do we know what the plot of the movie is going to be yet?” Madison asked.

“Right now, we know that it is going to be a Rom-Com. I was thinking that my character would fall in love with someone that is not expected. As for Zack’s character, have you had any thoughts on that?” Patrick asked.

“I was thinking that I would be one of the lesser known guys in the school and fall for someone who is more known than I would be.” Zack said.

“Sounds fun. Where do I fit into things? I am assuming that Patrick’s love interest will be Sara.” Madison asked.

“I am trying to think on that one. I don’t know if there needs to be a throuple in the movie. Maybe a love triangle or something like that? What do you think Maddie?” Patrick asked.

“That would be fun, then you can choose which one you want in the end. Plus, the three of us already have great chemistry.” Madison said.

“Yeah, we do. So, who would you be using as your love interest, Zack?” Patrick asked.

“I haven't really thought about it yet. I have a few ideas in mind. Maybe one of the Riverside girls might be fun.” Zack said.

“That’s a great idea. I seem to remember that Sara and I decided that we were going to be geeks. Are we still going with that?” Madison asked.

“That’s the plan. Does that still work for you?” Patrick asked and Madison nodded.

“Would I still be your best friend like in real life? I think that would work well for the movie.” Madison said.

“Yeah, that would be a good idea. I think we could work with that.” Patrick said.

“So, we will have to think about the people from Riverside as well. We already know that Heather, Whitney, and Elsa are going to be the bad girls. We will need to work on parts for the others.” Zack said.

“Yeah, we will come up with their parts soon enough. I think for today, we need to just work on parts for the Hilltop group. Once we do that, we can start working on parts for the Riverside group. I was thinking that we could have some of the guys from Hilltop mingle with some of the girls from Riverside and some of the girls from Hilltop mingle with guys from Riverside as well. What do you two think of that?” Patrick asked.

“I think that is a good idea. There are some of them who are single.” Madison said.

“Yeah, we can do that. So, we know that Brandon and Rory as well as Mason and Lacey need to be pre-established couples in the movie since they are already together. That will take care of those four.” Zack said.

“That’s true. We already have Asa and Paris talking to each other as well. At least we don’t have to worry about parts for Sean and Sasha since they both plan on being behind the scenes.” Patrick said.

“Isn’t Sharon supposed to be one of the mean girls with Heather, Elsa, and Whitney?” Madison asked.

“Yeah, she is. Thanks for bringing that up.” Zack said as he wrote that down.

“What about Scarlett? She doesn’t really have one clique, even in real life. Maybe we should do something like that for her in the movie as well.” Patrick said.

“That would work for her. She likes to play music, so maybe we can add that in for her as well.” Madison said.

“That sounds like a good idea. Maybe there are some others that can join her as a band. That would be fun to have in the movie.” Zack said.

“That’s true. We will see what we can come up with. If nothing else, she can be a solo act.” Patrick said.

The three of them continued to talk about other parts that needed to be filled and soon enough they had all of the parts figured out and they were calling an end to their meeting. They would be meeting again the next day with Rory as they would flesh out some of the scenes for the movie and make sure that everything looks right as they ran it past the drama club members.

Things seemed to be going smoothly when it came to the movie and hopefully they would be able to start filming within the next few weeks.

Patrick and Madison walked out to the parking lot to his truck so that they could go home. Madison had told her mom that she was working on something with the drama club so she would need to stay late at school and that she would get Patrick to drive her home.

“It looks like the movie is really coming along. So, who will you pick? Sara or me?” Madison said with a smirk.

“I am not giving any spoilers yet. To tell you the truth, I haven’t even really thought about it myself.” Patrick said.

“So, it isn’t automatic that you would pick your best friend?” Madison said with a cute pout on her face.

“Sorry, Maddie. I have to really think about this. It might not be figured out until after Zack and I write most of the script. I would have to see who has the most chemistry together.” Patrick said.

“That makes sense. I am looking forward to this movie though. I think it will be fun for all of us.” Madison said.

“I hope so, I hope it gives me and Zack a good grade for the project.” Patrick said.

“It should. It is a pretty cool idea.” Madison said.

“So, do you have anything planned for this weekend?” Patrick asked.

“Not that I can think of. What did you have in mind?” Madison asked.

“Just a date with both you and Sara and then maybe we spend the night at my house. It could be fun.” Patrick said.

“Oh, so let me get this straight. You want to have sex with both Sara and I and you use a date to get what you want?” Madison asked, smirking at Patrick.

“Well, the sex would be a fun addition to what I had planned, but yes, if that is how you want to think about it, sure, that is what we could do.” Patrick said with a smirk of his own.

“Music to my ears. You know, I would have sex with you right now so that you would let me be endgame for your character in the movie, but I am still sore from that gangbang this weekend, so let’s just say I will give you the best I have this weekend to make sure that I get that part.” Madison said.

“Oh, so you want to have a competition with Sara for who gets me at the end of the movie?” Patrick asked with a raised eyebrow.

Madison shrugged and then said, “I am quite competitive.”

“Don’t I know it, but I don’t want you two to be competing with each other. You are both equals in our throuple. We don’t need to mess that up.” Patrick said.

“You make a good point. I don’t want to ruin what the three of us have.” Madison said.

“Good. So, what do you have planned for us this weekend?” Madison asked.

“I was thinking we could go and watch a movie. Maybe have some dinner before that.” Patrick said.

“Dinner and a movie. How original.” Madison said, chuckling.

“I could always leave you out of the plans.” Patrick said with a smirk and Madison looked at him in mock shock.

“You wouldn’t dare.” Madison said, still looking at him with a fake shocked look on her face.

“If you keep making fun of me I will.” Patrick said.

“Some best friend you are.” Madison said with her own smirk and then the two of them started to laugh.

“You know I am just messing with you. I would never leave you out unless you had something else to do. The same goes with Sara.” Patrick said.

“I know. I just had to have a little bit of fun with you is all.” Madison said.

Soon Patrick pulled up in front of Madison’s house and the brunette was about to get out of his truck, but quickly turned around and gave him a kiss on the lips. “I will see you tomorrow, Patrick.” Madison said as she got out of the car.

“Yeah. See you tomorrow.” Patrick said as Madison shut the door and then he drove off toward his house. He was glad that things between him and Madison hadn’t really changed that much. Maybe people had a point when they always thought that the two of them were together. It never made sense to him before, but because nothing had really changed between them, he could see now why people had always thought that they were a couple. It made him smile because he knew that things would always be great between Madison and him because of their strong friendship that they had before they started dating.
