Jervis dreamed big.
He lusted big.

He decided to try and turn Wonder Woman into his new Alice!

How could he possibly capture her though?
Would his mind control devices even work on her?

Using his Underworld connections, The Mad Hatter was able to find out about the near-losses that the Heroine took.

It seems like having her wrists bound would weaken her, if not depower her (it was not confirmed).
Wresting her lasso away from her was also quite effective.
She was a strong fighter, but would not hurt the innocent.

Using the information, he was able to arrange an attack on the Themisceran Embassy in Gotham.

With Heroes such as Batman and Superman away, she was naturally the first one to arrive to look into this.

She floats down over the group of Hatter's controlled men and threw her lasso around them.

"Tell me why you're doing this- now."

The command contradicted the programming in their chips, which caused their bodies to go into what looked like a seizure.

Ever the Heroine, she lets them go and lands closer to check on them.

This allows them to attack her en masse, which is just a distraction.

As she tosses the men away- while not attacking them directly-, one of them grabs the loose end of her lasso.

He tries to make his move and wrap the lasso around her...
