Wiz steps in.

"Cursed Crystal Prison!" they all heard and suddenly, all of the bandits, retreating and otherwise, were encased up to their necks in ice.

The party turned to see Wiz, a hand extended. "...wow, that's some useful magic!" Kazuma remarked.

"I was once called the Ice Witch before I became a lich," Wiz smiled. "I still got it."

"Whoo! What a rush! That was awesome!" Fio laughed as she came out of hiding again, a bit scuffed up, but overall unhurt.

"Are you kidding, that was terrifying!" Kazuma retorted.

Fio blinked, and chuckled sheepishly, rubbing the back of her head. "Ah, erm, Kazuma? Remember when you asked me not to let you find out if I had any major quirks on par with your first three party members?"

"...yes?" Kazuma asked, his heart sinking like a stone.

"Yeah... Is this a bad time to mention that I'm something of a thrill seeker and adrenaline junkie?" she asked.

'... farewell, my peace of mind that I had one party member I could call reasonably sane... You will be dearly missed,' Kazuma wept. "You mean you were like Darkness all this time, wanting to do the dangerous stuff?"

"Eh, no, I'm addicted to danger, not pain..." Fio replied. "...so I guess kind of, but for different reasons?"

'It's official... This is a world where sanity comes to die...' Kazuma thought, resigning himself to his fate of eventually losing it too. He then turned to Aqua. "There are still some zombies about, care to purify them, so we can drag these scumbags off to jail?"

"Ah, right!" Aqua said. "Sacred Turn Undead!" she shouted, casting her spell, and the zombies faded away... WHACK! "OW! What was THAT for!?" Aqua shouted as her spell was interrupted by Kazuma smacking her upside the head.

"You "forgot" to avoid targeting Wiz," Kazuma deadpanned, pointing to aforementioned lich, who was shivering a bit, but fine since the spell was interrupted.

"...ugh!" Aqua threw her hands up. Couldn't get away with nothing!
