Her body immediately took on the form of Inner Moka, and she emerged from the water, looking pissed. "Now you damn trouts have done it! You want Tsukane!? You better try to go through me first!"

Ichinose turned, and blanched. "Tch, a Vampire?" She then regained her composure, smirking. "Well, even if you are, and are using a water antidote herb, you're still outnumbered and in our territory! We'll beat you senseless and drain Tsukane after!" she declared. She then immediately swam at Moka, her mermaid cohorts surrounding her.

Inner Moka realized they were right, but wasn't exactly out of tricks. She immediately jumped into the air the moment they got close. "Get her!" one of the mermaids shouted, and they all leapt from the water themselves.

"...idiots," Kurumu noted, already realizing that they had left their territory to go after Moka, and given up the environmental advantage.

"...to take the bait so easily, you really are fish!" Inner Moka declared, before rapidly striking each mermaid as they approached. They were sent crashing right back into the water, seeing stars before gravity reasserted itself on Moka, and she dropped back into the water, before grabbing the dazed Ichinose by the hair, and dragging her to the edge of the pool. "...give me one good reason not to make sushi out of you!" she growled, dragging her out of the water.

"Wait, wait, we aren't exactly killing anyone!" Ichinose protested, waving her webbed hands frantically, now scared for her life. "We leave them with enough life **** to live!"

"...cold comfort, they are left so old from being drained that they likely lost all but a few years, if that," Tsukane pointed out, swimming over as well, though keeping a bit of distance in case Ichinose tried something.

"It's reversible though!" Ichinose said nervously. "Don't ask me how, but the Headmaster always restores their youth to them every year when we do this hunt! You actually think we'd be allowed to keep doing this if we did permanent damage to so many students? It'd upset too many powerful members of families to let Yokai University keep running!"

Tsukane paused. "That... Actually makes some sense..." Tsukane said slowly. "...still can't say they're unharmed though. This shit's traumatizing. Not to mention you didn't exactly make it sound like it was benign."

Ichinose flushed and said, "...life **** tastes better when seasoned with a bit of terror, and sustains us better too... Also, yeah, it's pretty traumatic, I'll give you that, but hey, anyone stupid enough to trust a pretty face kind of needs this kind of a reality check, don't they?"

"...Moka, let her go. I don't think we need to press this issue," Tsukane shrugged. Moka pouted.

"Fine... But we're not done with her, are we? She IS quite pretty..." she smirked, and Tsukane blushed.

"Oh yes... And besides, who doesn't want to go for a mermaid?" Kurumu asked, also skipping over, her boobs spilling out due to the commotion causing the straps over them to end up in her cleavage, though she obviously didn't give a damn at the moment. "Aside from the life sucking thing, but I bet she'd be interested in being in our little harem... I bet you're intrigued by an Incubus, aren't you?" she teased Ichinose, who flushed.
