With a Little Help

Hades was relentless as he continued blasting fire from his jaw. The flames began singeing your insides: from your muscles to your bones... At that moment, two small, dark spheres were hurled at Hades, softly exploding as they each released a differently-colored gas cloud. With the mix of chemicals in them, the tiniest flame left over in the air ignited the clouds and exploded grandly in front of Hades!

"Hey, hairy!" yelled a high voice. Harley was standing defiantly beside Batman, and she looked like Bat's sidekick instead of yours. "Hands off my Pudd'n."

The smoke quickly cleared, and Hades blew a serious gasket in offense to the attack... "You dare to challenge the will of a god?!" he bellowed. He banged his flaming fists at the earth, sending a wave of heat and energy through it. Flaming bony arms arose and grabbed their legs, and Bruce's cape. And no matter how they stomped on them to free themselves, the bones would repair themselves! With Hades's attention divided for that moment, you moved away from him as fast as you could through the earth. You caught the god off-guard when he turned to you again, only to find you were gone.

You reappeared above ground, far away from him but stood ready to fight. As Hades ran toward you, you concentrated on the Flash in you and vibrated so viciously fast that electricity coated you. 'This is no time to go mundane on this guy...' you thought. You wasted no time in charging at him, faster than you had gone before and tackled into him! You knocked him off his ape's feet and pushed the deity away, socking his gut repeatedly and so quickly.

However, Hades easily dug his heels into the ground, despite your very best efforts. As he seized ahold of you, he ignored the electric current and held you up over his head. "I will enjoy tormenting your soul for eternity, mortal..." He threw you to the side and had you bash into a tree that became completely detached from its roots as it fell over, and then you left an impression into the one behind it. But it was still connected to the ground...

"How much can I endure...?" you wondered to yourself.
