Harley Missed!

The mallet had crashed right beside his head. Even though she avoided killing Batman, he could still feel the inhuman heat from the flames... He started sweating little drops instantly, increasingly with every second as they accumulated together into more visible drops on his face.

Hades witnessed the entire thing, not believing that his 'concubine' disobeyed him. "How dare you defy me!" he bellowed. He roared like the gorilla he inhabited, firing a long stream of flames at her. Harley cowered before them, but a light blue arrow pierced through the flames and split the stream.

Right down the middle.

Hades darted his head to the side, having barely avoided it. He looked to where the arrow originated from. "Hey, gorilla!" He, Harley and the others sharply turned their heads around to see you, with a big, light blue bow in your hand. "Cool it with the fire." Hades walked towards you, knocking Harley to the side as he did.

"Slaves," he barked at them. "Restrain the dark one, the light-bearer and the traitor. This one belongs to me." Besides Harley, Hawkgirl seized John and used her enhanced mace, or really her fiery electric energy to interfere with the ring's power. And to Batman's surprise and yours, Supergirl, who was originally in reserve for her Lord Hades, appeared and restrained Harley and Batman with ease.

"I'm not afraid of you, Hades," you defended. You made your bow vanish, having exchanged it with a bo staff you held in one hand before also putting it into your other.

"You shall be when we are finished here." He ran at you on all fours like a gorilla, but you vaulted over him with your staff, ready now to fight. Hades made a complete u-turn, and ran at you again. He balled his fists and raised them above his head, but as he swung them down on you, you restrained him at the wrists with all your strength. Unable to move much further, Hades used his foot to grab your leg and pulled it towards him, making you slide harshly on your back.

Your staff vanished into thin air when you literally fell victim to Hades's grasp. You flinched in pain from the impact, and then Hades forcefully jabbed at your chest. He would've killed you, had you not gone intangible. You were about to slip away when he wildly channeled his flames throughout your body! The searing pain from them overstimulated your pain receptors, creating an unbelievable anguish!
