With Mirko's least favorite part!

Mirko led them to her house, a modest three floor place if one included the basement. Well, modest if one took into account her means as a top Hero, given how expensive housing was, especially in an overcrowded country like Japan. She let them in, and led them to her home office. "Now then, let's get you started on learning one of the most important, if overlooked aspects of Hero Work," Mirko said, turning towards Bakugo and Izuku with a serious expression.

Both young men immediately stiffened and waited for her to drop some kind of profound wisdom on them. "And that is?" Bakugo asked impatiently.

"The paperwork," Mirko replied, completely stone faced. CRASH! This time, neither Izuku nor Bakugo could stop themselves from face faulting at that answer. Mirko grinned and laughed. "Hahahahaha! I knew you'd react that way!"

"Very funny... Now be serious," Bakugo grumbled as he got to his feet.

"Oh, Firecracker, I AM being serious," Mirko sighed. "Unfortunately, even when you're not running an agency, paperwork is an inescapable part of being a Hero. You have to fill out reports, handle paying your sidekicks if you have them, reference patrol routes with other Heros so there's not too much overlap..." she began listing off the many, many kinds of forms that needed to be done, and finished up with, "And don't even get me started on the ones you have to do in triplicate, though, thank all that is decent in this world, those are only the forms you have to fill out when you injure a Villain while subduing them, or kill them in the cases where you make the judgement call that lethal **** is necessary, or cause property damage, shit like that."

"...sounds like that's intentional, to make such mistakes in the field as unappealing to Heroes as possible," Izuku laughed nervously.

"...tell me about it..." Mirko sighed, an actual depressed cloud hanging over her head. Given her style of combat, she has more of such incidents under her belt than she cared to admit, and thus, had to do enough of those forms to give her nightmares. One of the few things she had nightmares about, actually. "And unfortunately, even freelancer Heroes like myself can't avoid it. Hell, I don't even have anyone to delegate any of it to on a payroll..."

"...you better not be planning on pawning it all off on us," Bakugo growled, seemingly forgetting how easily she had kicked his ass.

She snorted. "I might be a little mean spirited, but I have standards... That said, I AM going to have you both doing some mock forms, because you need to know this bullshit."

"...fine, how bad could it be?" Bakugo huffed, causing Izuku to have to repress the urge to smack him upside the head.
