Wishes Granted

Dennis had no idea why, but everything he wished for began happening. He hadn't found a genie in a bottle, but everything he wanted just... happened! He found out when he woke up to his alarm clock ringing.

"Ugh... stop it." He thought. To his surprise, his alarm ceased ringing, without him touching it. Bleary eyed, he headed downstairs.

"I hope mom made pancakes." He thought.

He came into the kitchen and, to his surprise, there was a huge stack of pancakes waiting for him! As he sat down to eat he remembered he was supposed to work today.

"I wish I didn't have to work." He thought. Just then, his phone rang. It was his boss, telling him they were closed for the day and he'd have it off... paid!

Dennis was growing suspicious. Happy, but suspicious. Curious, he tried to wish for something more specific.

"I wish... there was a PS5 for me, right in the living room!" He thought. Then, curiously, he looked into the living room. Sure enough, there was a brand new Playstation five, all set up as though it had always been there! He'd been saving up for one for a year, and now he just had it! Like magic!

"I wish... I was taller!" He thought. Then, to his utter amazement the floor got farther away as he grew another four inches, now six foot one!

"Holy shit." He mumbled, dumbfounded. Anything he wished for happened! It was real! He had to test this amazing power out more...
