William, a gamer nerd in his late 30's

William shifted uncomfortably in the seat of his Prius, adjusting the glasses that had slid down his nose. The air conditioning blew cool air against his sweaty skin, but it didn't do much to relieve the anxious heat that had been building since he left his apartment. He was on the outskirts of town, about to turn into the one place he'd been both dreading and curious about for days: the Park of Pleasure.

William had never heard of the Park before; he was more focused on getting through the work week so he could focus his interests on tabletop gaming, where he often acted as the group's Game Master. Which is what had led him to being parked outside the Park of Pleasure.

William was a good guy, single and nerdy, sure, but well-liked. His friends and fellow players privately felt a bit bad for him; outside of gaming and work, the guy had no real social life, and seemed fairly closed off to the perverse and sexual. When his friends discovered that the elusive and magical Park of Pleasure was going to appear near their home-town for a limited-time event, those friends figured this would be William's chance to open up to everything he'd been missing out on.

William was ****, to say the least, but had still ended up here. He'd looked up the Park online, and while there were a variety of rampant rumors, and even investigations by police and the FBI, there were enough intriguing elements to get William to drive out here. At the least, William figured, he could get some inspiration for running D&D's Witchlight Carnival, and perhaps if lucky could even learn the details of the enigmatic secret owner of the Park itself.

With a deep sigh, William got out of his car, locking it before reluctantly starting the walk across the parking lot to one of the entrances to the Park of Pleasure.

The neon lights of the archway cast a garish glow against the bright blue sky, and the scent of popcorn and cotton candy, and something musky, filled the air. He could hear the distant hum of music and laughter, and he felt a strange mix of excitement and dread churning in his stomach.

As he approached the entrance, William's apprehension grew. While the park wasn't exactly crowded, the ambiance was certainly outside of his comfort zone. The rumors that the park was completely open to both nudity and sexual acts was confirmed true within the first 50 feet of the entrance.

William saw a group of women in skimpy outfits, laughing and flirting with each other, and a few men in similar attire. He felt his cheeks flush as he looked away, his eyes darting to the ground.

*Note: I’ve been inspired by several of the other chapters from other authors in this story. Hopefully no one will come down harshly on using their ideas as inspiration for later chapters. This is merely my spin on the Park of Pleasure where I wished to include some of their iconic ideas and additions to the Park. Thank you*
