Why Does Eve Hate Christmas?(How it Started)

Now, Eve didn’t always hate Christmas. In fact, she used to love Christmas when she was younger. A couple years ago, Eve moved to her dream city, New York. One of the busiest and worst cities to live in during Christmas. New York seemed like a magical place like the North Pole due to the classic monuments and decorations around the city which drove many tourists to come visit New York.

Eve’s spirit of Christmas slowly subsided each year as more and more tourists came to visit New York at an increasing rate. Eve couldn’t stand the the streets being crowded with more people causing her to be late for work or any destinations she needs to be in. Eve didn’t bother to go Christmas shopping anymore because everything was always out of stock and there was no room to walk in shops anymore.

This year for Christmas Eve, Eve didn’t mind staying home, relax, and watch TV for the holidays. But of course, her friends invited her out for Christmas. No matter how many times Eve told them she didn’t want to go out, her friends told her the same thing, “It’s Christmas”, “You should be hanging out with your friends and family”, “Are you really going to be alone for Christmas?”

With enough guilt tripping from her friends, Eve finally gave in and began to dress warm for the night. As she was getting dressed, Eve became more regretful for the decision she had just made. She let out a big sigh as she shoved fuzzy socked feet in her long leather boots. She let out another long sigh as she walked out of her door, not believing what she’s about to do.
