Which DC Universe?
As with a lot of my fiction, I'm using sort of a composite DC universe. This one is far more vested in the 'Prime Earth' of post-Infinite Crisis/Pre-New 52 than others, though in the back of my head the Flash is Wally West (is there also Barry Allen, with Wally sticking to Keystone and Barry sticking to Central City? I'm not sure).
The story itself is set in Keystone City, as stated elsewhere.
Diana is very much in the 'Diana of Themyscira' mold between the Perez Post-Crisis reintroduction of the Amazing Amazon and the New 52. One area I'm drawing heavily on is Diana's time as the 'Goddess of Truth,' which in this interpretation she always remains -- it's just she returns to 'pre-divine' levels of power.
Obviously, as far as Diana's definitions go, I'm starting all the way back with William Moulton Marston's original definitions and then using the refinements over the decades. I wanted to have a Wonder Woman whose Amazon sisters 'enjoyed binding games' and then give reasons for Diana's potential weakness(es) while explaining why they weren't so easy to invoke. And I wanted to give some context for the subtext of bondage that is as much Diana's birthright as her everlasting youth... and take it out of the negative connotations that have developed over time.
At the same time, self-discovery is painful, especially when you have no choice. There had to be ups and downs.

Wonder Woman: Oathbound
An Oath that Can't Be Broken. An Amazon Goddess Bound To Serve
Wonder Woman. An idea. A paragon of virtue. Of justice. Of heroism. And of beauty. When a normal person saves Diana of Themyscira during an all out war between Justice and Doom, he has to bind her in her own lariat to anchor her and keep her alive. While within that lariat... delirious or not... all she could do is speak the truth. Including the truth when asked how she could be bound. Without violence, without question, and without limit. What happens when an ordinary man binds the Amazon Goddess of Truth and pinnacle of the Justice League in an oath that forces her to explore his every fantasy... and express her fantasies at the same time? Especially when in the process, he gets to see Diana as much as Wonder Woman... (I originally published this story -- and am still slowly working on it -- at Adult Fan-Fiction. http://comics.adult-fanfiction.org/story.php?no=600060729 -- it has been somewhat reformatted and edited for CHYOA. Hola!)
