Where did you come from?

“I thought you might ask for this,” says the imp. He tosses the magazine onto your bed and jumps up on it. Then he turns your night lamp to the wall and proceeds to ejaculate silvery semen in the shape of an upside-down, five-pointed star. The image shimmers in stark relief on the white paint, and then slowly begins to drip down your wall.

“Oh, gross!” you cringe, “I definitely did not ask for this. You’re going to have to clean that up when you’re done”

“There!” says the imp, finished with his crude masterpiece. “I have been doing this for a while, and I always like being able to pull this one out - a visual aid makes my explanation land so much more palatable.”

You have nothing to say to that.

“Now, let’s say we are here… the mortal plane.” The imp touches one of the five points at the top. “Then I come from the hellscape down here.” The imp follows the line to the bottom point. “These two realms are closely connected… and, it is my specialty and privilege to travel between realms! So together, all five realms are the Pentacleon. In addition to those two there are the Celestial Plane, Pandemonium, some other realm I’m forgetting about… oh, and in the middle between the realms is a tricky place, Limbo.”

This was a lot to take in, and the visual aid was not helping things.

“So you’re from the hell dimension or realm?” you ask.

“That’s right!” nods Diminutio.

“So, how do I know this is real… you say you can travel between realms, can you take me to where you come from?” you ask, before realizing that you may not actually want to go there.

“We’ll see, we’ll see,” says the imp, suspicious of your request. “I’m not a… how do you call it… a cab driver. But, if things progress and time permits, yes I suppose I could take you there. It’s not exactly a safe place for someone like you. My advice: stay in this dimension and use that tome to make the best of things!”

“Now, is there anything else you want to ask me?” says the imp.
