Where Do We Go From Here?

I have completed the introductory work for this story and am ready to see it develop. This is a world that has been buzzing around like a bee in my bonnet for a while now and I'm glad I finally took the plunge to bring it to life. I've done this for two reasons. First, I want to shape the story and tell some fantasy in a way that follows other works, but carries its own unique blend of story-lines as well. Second, even more fun than writing a story is, to me, seeing where a story goes as it is written by others. To that end, while I will continue to write on this story, I am also hoping to see many other authors take my story off in directions I either haven't explored yet, or haven't even thought of. All I ask is that whatever you write fits within the framework of my story and that any new creatures, settings, characters, magic, religion, etc., make sense within that framework. As I obviously won't live long enough to write about all the possible tribes in all the possible locations around the world, I encourage people to develop their additions around new characters in new locales, though you are still welcome to make additions to parts of the story that I write when you see a good way forward. Whatever you choose to do in writing or in reading what gets written, I sincerely hope that you enjoy yourself. After all, the journey is often more important than the destination!

I also re-saved all the introductory chapters, just to let you know I'm finished with them for now. If I decide to revisit them later, I will not do so silently, so you will know when and if changes are made.
