Chapter 30 by Potato-cat Potato-cat

What will life throw at you next?

What lies beyond hell? Heaven or another Hell?

The following week was extremely underwhelming for a “honeymoon”. It mainly consisted of your new husband fucking the ever-loving shit out of you anywhere and everywhere regardless of how you felt. In the kitchen, on the couch, in the woods, in the garage, it seemed like to only place that was off limits was the dam bed.

You also learned more about your new husband. His name was Buck Glenston. Which made you Alyson Glenston, or just Mrs.Glenston. He was 24 years old (6 years your senior) and worked a crappy, yet vague and suspiciously well paying job at the local scrapyard.

His flaws were many and obvious. He was a massive slob, lazy, and quick-to-anger. He always needed to be in control of a situation. Once you made the mistake of choosing what dinner would be without asking him. He loudly scolded you for it.

He took the success of others as a personal attack against him. This was made apparent when you finished reading a magazine before he finished reading his newspaper and he responded by lighting the magazine on fire in the front yard.

He was horribly sexist, even by your new standards. The only times you were allowed outside the house were to go grocery shopping and to attend mass, during both of which he must be with you. He also only had one working car, which you were explicitly not permitted to drive. This wasn’t ever really an issue however, as he drove it to work most days, leaving you completely stranded and alone deep in rural America.

He was completely disorganized and lacked either the ability or want to do basic planning. What this meant is that you would end up having to not only be his fuck-toy and maid, but also his secretary, secretly helping him manage his finances and pay the bills. This was “secret” because, as previously stated, you could only imagine that if he ever found out his wife, a person below him, was helping manage his finances because he was incapable of doing so, his reaction would be severe and painful.

And to top it all off, he had a MASSIVE drinking problem. His particular poison was a mixture of hard liquor and beer. His habit not only took up a large portion of the household funds, but also made you constantly fear for your safety. Though when initially drunk Buck appears calmer and more gentle than usual, he can go from zero to one hundred in a matter of seconds. And most terrifying of all was that literally anything can set him off. During the honeymoon he was siting on the couch drunk. He asked you to change to channel, do you did. This caused him to go ballistic. He even threw a lamp at you. It barely missed your head and shattered against the wall. But from then on you knew to avoid Buck when he was drunk.

Yet, despite his flaws, he wasn’t entire bad. In-between his shortcomings you could see the small glimmer of a person. One time during your honeymoon, you went to let him know you had made him lunch. You found him in the garage, working on a dingy looking sports car. Feigning interest, you asked him some simple questions about it. To your surprise, he responded with a heartfelt and passionate explication all about cars and mechanics. the vast majority of it went over your head, but he seemingly didn’t care if it did. The look on his face when he was telling you about that car was the closest thing to pure childish joy you had seen him express.

It was clear, that there was something more beneath the devil you knew. The only question was wether it was an angle, or a devil far more twisted?

What happens next in your life
