What happened to her dress?

"Is something wrong?" Dennis asked Lauren, well aware what was bothering her.

"Uh... no." Lauren said nervously, looking around.

She felt all these people looking at her. Nervously she went to tug down her dress... but it wasn't there! Lauren looked down and her eyes bulged out as she saw her dress had somehow lost nearly a foot in length and was up to her hips! Lauren gasped, hunching forward and tugging her now shirt sized dress down as she slammed her knees together.

"Woah, it looks like you lost half your dress!" Dennis pretended to just notice. "How did that happen?"

"I... I don't know!" Lauren exclaimed, baffled and horrified.

"Hey, what are you wearing?" Dennis asked. "Shorts?"

"Uh... yes!" Lauren said, very nervous now. "They just... don't leave any panty lines!"

Dennis rolled his eyes at the obvious lie. Fortunately he had a way to get at the truth.

I wish Lauren would tell the truth.

"Actually, they're Spanx." Lauren explained. "Special shaping panties."

After she spoke Lauren eyes bugged out. Had she really just said that?!
