Take the direct path or try to get tricky?

What could possibly go wrong?

You enter the thick mist. It envelops you like a warm bath. Soon you can't see anything more than a couple of inches in front of you. The church exit was somewhere straight ahead so you step forward carefully.

It's weird how everything seems louder when your vision is gone. Every little noise from the fog machine, the thunder from the speakers on the walls. The multiple sets of footsteps...

Another roll of thunder sounds, and "lightning" flashes through the room. Briefly everything is illuminated and in the two flashes that follow you see a small group of girls dressed up as zombies. They're standing all along the path to the church. In the second and final flash you see their faces staring at you with a wicked grin.
