What could go wrong?

Brian floats towards the orb, when he feels that he is close enough he begins to ask the being for help.

"Hey, I don't want to intrude but could you--"

Before he can finish his question, a long tendril launches from the ghost right into Brian's head. He feels a strange feeling almost like he is being drained, all the while he begins seeing visions of someone else. Flashing through their life, then of the hotel, and of other ghosts. He can feel everything that happened, it's almost as if he were merging with something.

Voice: "I'm not letting you eat me!"

The voice is feminine and demanding. Brian feels his strength almost at its end, fear grips his very being! He knows that he needs to do something or else he may not exist anymore.

"I-I'm not trying to eat you! I just want help to get my body back!!"

Just as suddenly as the draining started, it stops. Leaving a very weak and confused Brian floating with a tendril still lodged in his head.

Voice: "I don't believe that, everything in this damn place tries to eat anything they can. Besides you are so weak you would just feed someone else here, it may as well be me that does it."

"Please! don't do this, just let me go! I need to get my body back and save Aya!"

The voice doesn't respond. Instead, Brian feels a pull unlike the draining from earlier its as though he is moving. Suddenly he feels a presence all around him, it feels comforting and safe. The spirit has pulled Brian in closer, a move that seemingly shows a small amount of trust.

Voice: "Ok, I will believe you for now. But I warn you, I could end you in an instant if I find out you are lying."

Brian recaps with the ghost who introduces themself as Samantha. Brian details his experiences from the first moment he met Aya right up to the current situation.

Samantha: "Wow, what an unfortunate day...I have met Aya before, she always kept to herself. As for your body, there could be any kind of spirit that took it. I suppose that I could help you track it down. In the meantime you should find a place to rest, you will need all of your strength if you want your body back."

"Thank you so much, I owe you. Somehow I will make it up to you!"

Samantha: "Oh don't you worry about that, I will make sure I get something from this."

The way she said that sends a shiver through Brian, who knows what he just agreed to. Samantha quickly floats to the entrance and disappears in search of Brian's stolen body.
