Weights

Adam walked into the locker room ready for gym. Gym was probably one of his favorite classes, and being new in high school, he was super eager to impress some people. This was the first time he’d have a gym class where all four grades were mixed.

He got to his pre-assigned locker and put in his combo. He got changed and with no problems. He noticed though, he was the only freshman in his row.

After getting changed he walked out into the gym. He waited on the bleachers while everyone else filed out slowly. He was one of two freshman boys, and he didn’t really know the other freshman boy. However he did surround himself with the three other freshman girls. Which did draw some attention to him from the upper classmen.

The teacher, Mr. Bennett, came out shutting the door to the men’s locker room behind him. Then he walked over and called into the girls room, then closed the door a moment later.

He approached the bleachers and took attendance. He did his yearly speech of rules and such and by the time he was complete there was about fifteen minutes left of class. He told them today would be a free day so the class could choose what they wanted to do.

Adam and a few other classmates went to the weight room. Adam was fairly familiar with it since he’s been in it before due to football, however it seemed to be a bit different. Maybe it was due to the fact that it was gym instead of practice, but the atmosphere was definitely different.

He did his thing, but noticed that a lot of the seniors eyes were on him. He took advantage of this and pushed himself to his limits to impress them.

Finally, Mr. Bennett blew his whistle and told them to go get changed. Adam finished his set and headed for the locker rooms. He stripped his shirt and wrapped a towel around his waist.

Mr. Bennett said that all the boys should shower before returning to class. So, after wrapping the towel around his waist he stripped the remainder of his clothes off and headed for the showers. He walked into a stall and closing the curtain behind him.

After his shower he grabbed his towel, dried off and wrapped the towel around himself. He stepped out and that’s when he realized none of the other showers were on. Confused, he walked back into the locker room where the rest of the guys were, and like he thought no one else showered.
