Weekend plans

Jaune and Yang made their way home together, eventually reaching the dorm, where Yang ended up quickly falling asleep, as did Pyrrha.

There was a lot going on, but Yang's carefree nature, and Pyrrha's more professional one, allowed them to shrug off the stress.

Jaune and Blake, however, were having issues sleeping. Jaune sat up in bed after hours of staring at the ceiling.

"You up Blake?" he whispered.

"Mhm"

Jaune got out of bed, a sleepy whine coming from Yang.

"Wanna grab some coffee?"

Jaune and Blake went down to the cafeteria. It was about two in the morning. Nobody else was around. But they couldn't sleep.

Jaune approached with two cups, placing one in front of Blake.

"Thanks." she said, before taking a sip.

The two sat in silence for a bit, sipping their coffee in the cafeteria.

"So... what's the plan?" Blake finally said, breaking the silence.

"Well. It's the weekend. So tomorrow I start with Emerald." he began "I'll have her basically all weekend, and hopefully I can break her by then... or Ria will break Mercury."

Blake took another sip, adjusting in her seat.

"Jaune?"

He looked up at her.

"I just want you to know... I know I mentioned my... feelings... for Adam. But I need you to know that..."

Blake let out a nervous sigh as she grabbed his hand.

"I... love you. Not him anymore. So no matter what happens with this, you can count on me. And I know you have all the other girls, so I don't really expect you to love me back but--"

Jaune leaned across the table, locking lips with her. He pulled away, leaving her stunned.

"Blake. I do love you. But like you said, there's the other girls too. I wouldn't say that I love Ciel or Penny yet, but the girls who have been around for a while or... well... you know. I love a lot of you girls. I hope that's enough for you."

Blake blushed

"It is..." she said, pushing her hair back from her face with a smile.

They sat there a few moments longer before...

"You know what... why don't we just sit and chat?" Jaune said "We're so focused on this White Fang stuff, and Cinder's little squad... we need to shift our focus."

Blake nodded in agreement, as the two began to chat.

Things went from Blake's books - the non-sexual ones, anyway - to TV shows, to gossiping about the other harem members. Until 4 AM rolled around and they made their way back to the dorm, laughing and chatting the whole way.

And as the sun rose... Yang found herself alone in bed. She began to frantically look around, before seeing Jaune in Blake's bed. She scrunched her face and crawled over, laying on top of Jaune in the small bed.

And around 10, Jaune's eyes finally opened...
