Week 1 of Investigation

Included are notes from Detective Marcia Taylor, these are notes from her own investigation and are not included in official case documents. Only the Detective's thoughts and theories on where the case is going, nothing here is presentable in court.

Interviews conducted

Kara Collins: Useless, the attorney was overtly sexual, and spent more time trying to frustrate Agent Hyun, nothing was gained from this.

Simone Jackson: Appeared concerned, yet due to Agent Hyun's interaction with her wife earlier, the interview quickly devolved into a screaming match.

Mr. Allen: Very cooperative up to this point, however as more and more comes to light regarding Ms. Allen's relationship with her neighbor, there is still plenty of motive for him.

Search of house:

Ms. Allen's house revealed to us the diary that forensics is still looking through. The pages they have sent to me are a cornerstone of the this investigation, and well... clearly indicate how passionate Ms. Allen is. Rereading them has certainly given a large amount of insight into this case, but also may have led to some... distraction by this particular investigator. I can sense and see what she sees in Ms. Jackson too, though my judgement will not be cluttered due to some arousing diary pages.

We also came across the medication Ms. Allen claimed to be taking at the direction of her therapist. The capsules seem to be filled with a mixture of Estrogen, Human Growth Hormone and other still undetermined chemicals. This could explain the rapid weight gain in particular "womanly" areas that Mr. Allen talks about in her diary pages, as well as the heighten arousal that seemed to increase after the medication started. If she underwent a large amount of physical change over the summer as some witnesses have stated, it could be hard to get a proper physical description out to the public. According to other neighbors who witnessed the Summer parties thrown by Ms. Jackson and Ms. Collins, the Lori they saw progress throughout the summer changed throughout the season, going from a more reserved pastor's wife at the Memorial Day party to a wild hyper sexual party girl at the Labor Day party. Some witnesses indicated they were shocked that she was the same person from party to party let alone that the pastor's wife they has seen missing on television. It is leading the investigation into an odd angle. Do we change those pictures of her to better represent the person that is missing, or do we remain pushing the narrative of the pastor's wife? We could get better leads if she ran off or someone saw her leave with another woman out of town, or it could change the perception of the missing as just another harlot.

It's been hard enough keeping the press out of our way and under wraps during this investigation, and if these physical and mental changes were brought onto Ms. Lori because of an outside **** (Dr. Winters or even Simone herself) then is it really fair to frame the victim as someone who "went off the deep end" so to say.

I am truly concerned about these "Hypnotherapy" sessions that appear in the Doctor's notes, because NONE of them are accounted for. We have a warrant to rip that office apart and hopefully we can discover the location of those. I fear what additional stimuli this "Doctor" had in store for the poor pastor's wife. It sounds like she was already changing her with these medication, opening her mind up to more invasive measure could have created chaos for Lori. Hopefully we can locate those soon.

As for the time being, Agents Franks and Hyun are watching the two houses, and I am curious to see if anything comes of that. Franks is sure the husband was having an affair and found out his wife was too and he's responsible for the missing woman, however Hyun thinks there is more going on in the neighbor's marriage and she is putting her money on the two of them having something to do with. Hopefully their surveillance notes will help.
