Week 1 Fan Mail: Aria

Aria opened her first piece of mail to find a bundle of silver fabric and a matching tiara.

Dear Aria, my champion. Well played dear. I thought Cecilia was going to make a clean run of things, but you stopped her in the end. As promised, your well deserved reward. The tiara is more than merely symbolic of your win. Once, and once only, you can use it to veto a transformation for yourself. I must warn you however that such powerful magic is likely to have side effects so be Very sure you want to use it and not waste it lightly. I would wish you luck in trouncing Cecilia in the wider game of your season as well, but you hardly seem to need it. Here also is your outfit from my game, I do hope you enjoy it as well, Shar.

“Hey, thanks, Shar,” Aria smiled and placed the tiara on her head, “I’m probably gonna need this, based on what kind of TFs Sera’s offered me, so far. Guess it’s a good thing I happened to stream some Ace Attorney games before the season started—gave me some practice spotting clues.”

Dear Aria,
So funny story, I also started this competition as a Vtuber and had my body changed to better match my avatar. Not an alien though, a plant. I think I've actually caught a few of your streams in up and coming talent compilations. That's no small feat! If the circumstances were different I'd be suggesting a collab or something.
If there is one piece of advice Id give its...maybe just try and relax? I spent the beginning of the game so tense all the time, I made a lot of enemies. Maybe you don't have that problem, but it helped to be reminded that everyone is dealing with the same stress as you, even if they're handling it differently. Maybe you're chiller about these things, but its the only piece of 'wisdom' I got
Wishing you Luck,
Lily Wright

“First I’ve heard of being in any compilations.” She raised an eyebrow. “I didn’t think they put you in those when your average viewer count is like 15. No need to worry about the relaxing bit—I’ve got that pretty much covered. Hell, even Cecilia isn’t as bad as half the people you run into online. Thanks for the concern, though.”

She opened her next piece of mail, only to find something long, thin, and leathery.

Hello Aria,
I was given your details and told to write a letter to you, and I think I know why. I was also given a new body at the start of my season, and I’m still struggling to get used to it. My change wasn’t as dramatic as yours in a lot of ways, I’m still fully human, even if my new body’s boobs don’t seem to obey gravity all the way. On the other hand, at least you were pretty before you were changed as well as afterwards.
What is it like for you when you look in the mirror? Does it still feel like you?
Yours kindly,
Sarah Hawkins (Harem Hotel: Storytelling Edition)
P.S. Despite what it looks like, I promise this present is meant to be a belt. It’s a succubus tail, so it supposedly symbolises lust.

[Succubus Tail Belt
Long, thin, with a pointed tip like an arrow head. It’s soft to the touch, like well-worn leather. Its magic can be used once to allow the wearer to sense when they are being lusted after for a day, and by whom.]

“Yeah, I just feel normal, even though I know that’s not the case.” Aria shrugged. “I don’t know… I could be wrong, but based on the vibes I’m picking up, are you sure you’re supposed to be writing to me and not Aífe? The belt’s neat, even if it’s a bit ironic to give it to the season’s token demi. Thanks, though—I’ll try to find some kind of use for it.” She reached for the next letter and wondered if it was meant to be a joke centered around inviting her to “Smash”.

Dear Aria,
Well, well, well. If it isn't the woman who had a lot to say about my hobbies and how I spend my time. You know some people would get quite offended by some of those comments. Not me though. I'm not really mad, just thought I'd give you a bit of grief over it. Even if I was hurt I'd forgive you because you're fun and hot. Honestly while you took the easiest option I'm still impressed you managed to beat one of my scores. I may have to visit the arcade at this rate and make a serious mode attempt at all of the machines again. Love your new look by the way. Not just the alien version, the new curves to your human appearance are wonderful as well. Diona may have gone a touch overboard, though you were super hot, but she isn't wrong about how great you look in some new threads. Good luck in the competition. I think I'm rooting for you the most
A big fan,
Sally
P. S. I tend to change it whenever I change my body but my current username is TheUltimateBoobLover. If Sera lets you message me and I can give you some game tips or we could play together online sometime. Given your Battle Network performance you could use the help

“Hey, I wondered if I’d be hearing from you.” Aria smirked and threw up a peace sign. “What can I say, ‘cept GGEZ? Kidding, of course. Also, can the two of you get off my back about how bad I am at Battle Network? Seriously, it’s like a 20 year-old game I played when I was a kid.”

Greetings.
Now, I guess that show did end up leading to some pretty wild turns to you. And that, well, your life before said wild turns wasn’t exactly always the best either. Still, happy to see you did find something to help you dealing with the new normal you’ve been saddled with. Hopefully, the alien TFs of the future do offer some cool stuff to do with later down the line. I know, childish, but eh, if one is to become an alien in body, why not get to enjoy some superpowers on top? Can’t let Kryptonians hog all the fun.
Still, I do wish you the best while trying to deal with the other part of the show. And… Don’t feel pressured by how fast other ladies might be taking the sex part and how fast their score rises. Hopefully, if this season is ready and willing to let you all rise as fast as Erica may have, you have the time to build something up on the emotional level with Aife, and maybe other people of this harem, before you make the big jump, if you decide to, and be on time to tidy yourself over with the scores.
Dunno what the faceless part of the audience will think of this (I assume anyone making the effort of writing for instance is more invested in seeing you succeed), but eh, they are assholes if they think otherwise. Just mean you tune them out the way you’d likely tune out the creeps during your streamings. Speaking of this, if you weren’t to stream some of the ragebaits for the money, what are the kind of games you prefer? Or how into modding games are you? Gygax know RTSes fans have to thank the modders for keeping ourselves fed properly in this day and age. Maybe trading tips or recs in the future?
But besides this… For all the weird, you get to make something new with good people around you. Hope the new deal ends up being something you find fulfilling.
Keep going,
Isabelle ‘Hardric’ Richards.
PS: May be my own cavalier attitude on spoilers, but… Just keep those words in mind if drama ramps up, or if the ride turns out to be bumpier than hoped. There are people around you to help with it.

“I know, right?” Aria groaned in exasperation. “You’d think I’d at least get flight or laser blasts in exchange for turning into the secret extra member of the Blue Man Group, but all I got were these stupid things.” She complained, motioning toward her boobs. “But yeah, complaints aside, I’m not too worried about points, just yet. If I stay neutral in challenge rankings, then I’m probably on track to reach 100 by the end of the season. Oh, yeah—I don’t stream them super often because of copyright bullshit, but I like rhythm games.”
