Wedding Plans

I pressed one. The arrangements would cost me extra, but I'd done very well well for myself throughout the years. Luckily, my family actually _was _rich, so selling that part wouldn't be hard.

Normally, a groom would invite his family to the wedding, but well, my parents didn't think much of me, to begin with, and the only person who actually gave a shit died six years ago. Comes with being the black sheep of the family, I suppose. None of them liked it when I decided to go to a public college instead of some Ivy League uppity-shmuck school. I had gotten tired of dealing with entitled rich kids when I was 6 years old, so I sure as hell wasn't going to deal with them by choice if I could avoid it.

It was actually one of the best decisions I'd ever made. Normal people (If anyone can really be referred to as such) were much more fun to be around. In fact, it was there that I met the friends who would introduce me to RWBY.

Despite her initial portrayal as just another rich girl, I found myself quite fond of Weiss once I learned more about her, to say nothing of the fact that I could relate very well to her backstory. Suffice it to say, I also learned what waifu's were that same day. When I called the RoboSlut hotline, I was very happy to learn they sold a model based on her. And the arranged marriage option definitely struck a chord with me. Looking back, I could see how my own parents had attempted to do the same to me when I was young, though they were much more subtle about it.

But, if I'm being honest, there is one more reason I ordered her, even beyond my attraction to smaller body types. When I first saw how Jacque Schnee treated his daughter, it stirred up something of a hero complex in me. I simply couldn't stand to watch her suffer like that. So, when the opportunity arose to get that girl away from that evil man for good, even if only symbolically, I jumped at it.

Plus, I really do like my ladies on the smaller side.

I made the arrangements for a small chapel to be reserved for a day roughly one week after I placed my order. A priest provided by the company would be there to serve as officiant, even going so far as to provide an authentic marriage license, for whatever reason. We weren't going to bother with a reception as the entire ceremony would be small, and in the terms of the scenario I had devised, Jacques wouldn't like me much anyway. I bought a new Tuxedo to go with the other 23 I almost never wore, paid $17,000 extra for my soon to be wife's dress and even booked a lovely little spot for our honeymoon.

Whether or not she was truly a flesh and blood human aside, I wanted to treat this girl right.

And soon enough, the day arrived.
