Chapter 24
by Orlog4
What happens next depends on your branch of magic. Which one is it?
Water
The chimera looks confused to the circle below it. Of course it would have been better to quickly jump away, but you are not going to complain that the chimera stood still instead. It only takes a second for the magic to come into action. The water in the air and the gound around the circle gets pulled into the middle of the circle and immediatly a huge spike of sharp ice shoots up in the air. It is about three meters high and smoothly impales the chimera, which is pulled up in the air and now hangs two meters in the air by a huge, bloody hole in the belly.
The chimera struggles and gasps for a last second. It probably wanted to growl or scream, but only a big stream of blood comes out of his mouth. The the body stops moving. You wait a moment and look at the impled corpse. It was a quick ****, but still a painful one. However, you don't feel any pity. This disgusting creature terrorized cornflower fields, murdered villagers and livestock and it poisoned Tocar. One of the nicest mages you ever met.
Since you're thinking about him right now, you suddenly realize that you have to go to him immediately. The chance that he is not dead yet may be extremly small, but you just have to try and hope for the best.
Can you save him? Or is it too late?

Reborn into Calitian
You are reborn into another world of magic and fantasy. How you live is your choice, the consequences are as well.
The world of Calitian is a world of magic whose sentient inhabitants vary from human to decidedly not. You are rather unexpectedly reborn into this world however you do not get the expected god delivered spiel about said rebirth so you are on your own. This should be interesting.
