Tonight the show is hairspray. You thought you had the general idea of what it was about, but it turns out you really didn’t have a grasp on it at all.

There’s a group of vain high school students who touch up their hair constantly. By the end of the show they’ve used so much hairspray that the Earth’s ozone is destroyed. Everyone has to live inside to avoid having their skin burnt off in a matter of minutes. This didn’t stop any of them from using more hairspray and the show culminates in an ecological warrior, Pal Gore, clubbing the main characters to **** with a bowling pin. You’re not really sure what you just sat through, but you’re sure that it’s finished.
