Shiho smiled, extended her arm, and showed off some of her athletic ability as she threw the gym bag toward the train car. For Ann, the whole thing played out in slow motion. Panicked and acting on instinct, the second the bag flew from Shiho’s hands toward the train car’s beckoning entrance, Ann didn’t give a moment of thought before she pushed aside the banner, sprinted after the bag while giving anyone watching quite the show as she threw caution to the wind, and tackled the bag out of the air in a fashion that would do her metaverse namesake proud. Until she landed, that is. The young blonde hadn’t put any thought into anything but catching the bag, so when she tackled it midair and felt the tough fabric of the gym bag come into contact with her bare bosom, it reminded her just why she had been hiding and why she wanted the bag some badly, a crimson blush spread across her cheeks. She was naked. Any elegance or grace she showed in pursuit of the bag was lost as Ann froze up, tumbling to the tiled ground in an unceremonious heap, the bag clutched to her chest, legs spread apart, on the floor. She laid there, huffing and puffing, suddenly too tired to move.

“The train will now be departing, please stand back,” she heard the announcer declare as the train began to pull away. Ann felt a wave of relief as the train vanished from sight. She dropped her arms to her sides, letting the bag just rest on her chest, enjoying the floor’s cool tint on her suddenly all too hot body, even going so far as to close her eyes to enjoy the moment of peace in the quiet station further.
