Chapter 141 by Colleem Colleem

Still Dracula stood on the battlements and looked down on the battlefield from his elevated position. As expected, Bruce had not yet used his heavy guns as he had expected. He watched as some of the werewolves stormed the walls. But the angry scream of Vicky announced their doom. She alone was strong enough to take on a dozen werewolves due to her new transformation, but then the wolf monster stepped in. Even for his eyes, the creature's movement was too fast. However, the battle was terribly monotonous until a certain point. Vicky could not counter this creature. She was faster, stronger and more in control than Vicky was. He would probably have to intervene soon. But then he had to smile when he heard the thunder.

"How predictable." He smiled and watched as the monster and Superman cleaned the floor with Vicky. Zatanna teleported next to him and looked worried when she saw Superman.

"Master. . . What do we do now?" she asked, pointing at Superman, but Dracula just smiled.

"Don't worry, Zatanna."

Just as Zatanna was about to reply, another thunder could be heard and when Zatanna turned her head in the direction of the sound, she saw the alien wolf just freed itself from a pile of debris. But before the monster was completely free, Superman had already started the next blow and sent Karen through another building.

"Uh..." was all Zatanna could say as she watched Superman go after Karen. With Superman at her side, Vicky stood up to the wolf.

"Remember who she once was, my dear. Though she is no longer able to think about her actions, she still has all her powers."

"Are you saying that this monster is still a master of..." Zatanna stammered in panic.

"Of course. This hero's mind may be strong but not strong enough to take on her spirit. He is now completely under her control and will help her stand against this monster. Although I really wonder what this creature is." Admitted Dracula. "I have never seen such a werewolf."

"I fear this is far worse than a werewolf, Master. It's a Kryptonian."

"Where is this country?" Dracula asked curiously.

"This is the same world Superman came from. . . By the size of those tits, I suspect it's Power Girl. The woman you have fought before. " Said Zatanna worried.

Dracula just nodded and watched the fight for a few more seconds. It would at least explain the power of this wolf. But his attention was quickly captured by the ongoing battle. Now that Vicky was no longer protecting the outer walls of the castle, the werewolves were about to enter the walls. Thanks to their supernatural claws, it was easy for them to climb the wall.

"Master?" Talia asked and looked up at her master. Still Dracula stood untouched on his position and looked down at her. That look alone was enough to let Talia know that her time had not yet come, so she remained calm. However, Talia looked skeptically at the outer walls where the first wolves had just come over the wall. The first of them rose to its full size and roared angrily a challenge towards Dracula. He heard the challenging call, but he didn't react in the slightest to such a brazen harassment.

But just when the werewolf was happy about his cheeky nature, a new scream sounded. This was neither from a werewolf nor from Vicky. Out of the darkness of the clouds, the Gargoyles came down on the wolves. While 5 of them flew in a nosedive along the walls and tore the werewolves from the walls, Goliath landed directly in front of the werewolf, who had dared to climb the battlements.

Even though the werewolf was quite big, he and Goliath stood opposite each other at shoulder height. The werewolf looked somewhat confused at the creature that now stood before him and whose eyes glowed red for a second.

"This castle is under my protection," said Goliath growling and could see fear in the werewolf. Even though this creature had incredible powers, there was no warrior inside, just an ordinary human being who had been put into the shell of a werewolf. But with Goliath it looked different. He was the protector of this castle for thousands of years and was born to defend it. It was easy for him to grab the werewolf and put it over his head.

Batman was still standing on the ruins of the old Wayne Tower and, like Dracula, he supervised the battle. He could clearly see that a new enemy had appeared. They looked like demons that had broken out of the clouds. They reminded him of the stone statues he had seen in his drone pictures during the day. But when he saw how the biggest and most impressive of them lifted one of his wolves over his head and tore it into two pieces with an angry scream, even Batman was impressed.

But before he could call something to his wolves Harley grabbed him and pulled him to the ground. Where he had just been standing, one of Superman's heat vision had gone on. As he nodded his thanks, he rose again and looked at the three monsters fighting with each other in the air and on the ground. Cursing, he had to admit that the appearance of Superman had really ruined his day. Normally it would have been easy for Karen to tear the wall apart and go after Talia, Zatanna and this monster alone. But with another Kryptonian on the field, the battle was much more balanced. A battle between two Kryptonians was a city-destroying affair in itself, but what the three of them did was ridiculous. Around him, buildings were turned to dust if one of the three hit the foundation or one of the heat vision of Karen or Superman missed the target. Directly above him at that moment Superman shot past who had been hit by Karen's tail. Without being able to cushion his fall, he smashed through a building completely to get stuck in the next one. But Karen was apparently able to hold her own against both of them. This meant that he could prepare for the main fight.

He raised his hand and spread his fingers as a sign of attention. Then he made a quick hand movement. Time for the second wave. He had to get rid of those gargoyles before they became a real threat. But now came the first wave which was not just simple wolves. These gargoyles would have much more problems with these enemies than with the first ones.

Like a storm the three now raced across the battlefield towards the Walls. First and foremost, the giant wolf that had once been Red Hood stormed. With wide sentences the werewolf jumped past his conspecifics and cleared his way. Directly behind him the clearly more delicate figure of Barbara jumped from heel to heel. The spider's lower body, on which her body rested, made enormous leaps, which brought her just as quickly to the wall. The fastest of the three, however, was Huntress. She used her spider silk to pull herself directly to the wall.

No sooner had she rammed her legs into the wall than one of the Gargoyles flew towards her. But she just grabbed him out of the flight and rammed him into the wall. Even a creature as hard as a gargoyle roared in pain when his wings and several bones were broken. But Huntress did not let the poor man suffer long. The last thing the gargoyle saw in his existence was a huge mouth that opened far beyond the limits of what was possible. Razor-sharp teeth closed around the skull and after that there was only darkness.

As Huntress threw the body of the enemy down the wall, the werewolves roared with victory.
