Chapter 9

Do you Uber, or walk?
Walk
Screw the danger. Screw the fear. Fuck all of it.
You weren’t about to allow fear and apprehension to control your life. While this body scared you and made you nervous, it also made you feel confident. It… made you feel confident in your own skin for the first time in your life. If anything, it felt freeing to be transformed into this knock-off form of Mia Khalifa.
No more fear, it was time for action.
With a deep breath, your hand reached for the ornate bronze handle of the front door. Your thumb rested on the underside of the spherically handle. Closing your eyes, you pulled open the door and…
…and nothing.
Hot white sunlight flashed across your form, accenting your curves as highlights were brightened and shadows deepened. The sunlight made you feel calm and at peace. You opened your eyes and looked out around you as you stepped through the door, letting the door slam close behind you.
Nothing happened. Everything was normal. What?
You weren’t about to let this opportunity go to waste. Pulling your phone up to your phone, you quickly navigated to your “Maps” app and copied over the address from the text message. In an instant, a green route was highlighted for you and your thumb pressed the “Start” button.
So far, so good.
You walked down the pristine white sidewalk in front of you, occasionally glancing around at your surroundings. Everybody was just going about their business, nobody was making you any mind. Well, except for the guy at the corner.
When you met eyes with him you blushed and he flashed a toothy smile full of straight, white teeth. He had wavy blonde hair that fell down to his shoulders with deep blue eyes, and a statuesque jawline.

Fuck, he is hot.
You approach the street corner where he is waiting, brushing a strand of your brown hair behind your ear as you pull up beside him.
“Hey, I’m Luke!” The blonde-haired man said energetically, his hand outstretched to shake your hand.
Just who the fuck was this? You had never met him before... though he did look oddly familiar from somewhere. Regardless, who just straight up introduces themselves to complete strangers like that? Though, he was being nice at least. But did that mean you had to say "Hi" to him back? No, but it would be the nice thing to do.
Do you acknowledge him, or ignore him?
Acknowledge him, or ignore him?
