Wake up

The world calls and Ethan wakes, eyes fluttering open as the sounds of the world assault him.

No. Not sounds. Sound. Singular. A knocking sound. Knocking. Knocking. Knocking... On the door? Somebody is at the door!

Groaning, he twists in bed wondering who it could be. The internet guy? No, not likely. They said they would call.

Curiosity wells up in his belly, but a yawn pushes it back down.

He should answer it, but sleep is tempting.
