What's next for Zari?

Waiting around naked

Zari paced awkwardly for a few minutes, glancing around her room. At least... whatever it was wasn't doing anything else. It seemed content just to leave her naked.

Which, sure, that tracked with Constantine's theory. It just wasn't especially encouraging that their latest problem was some ageless beast that was only interested in dedicating its considerable power to getting and keeping her naked.

"Gideon?" Zari said. Damn it, why did her voice still sound so high? "Make sure my door's locked. I don't care who wants to get in or why, just keep it shut until I say."

"Yes, Miss Tomaz," the AI chimed back.

It wasn't much of a relief.

Being naked in her room was something she was used to, but at least normally she had the choice, and normally she could get dressed again before heading outside. Now...

She slowly approached her clothes-drawer. When she tried to reach in, some disembodied **** pushed the clothes away from her hand; of freaking course it did.

A slight whimper escaped her lips. Then Zari sighed, and walked back to her bed, slumping down.

"Really not letting it go, huh?" she said to the air.

The spirit never replied to anything. Apparently keeping her naked was more important than making any kind of conversation, or interacting in literally any other fashion.

She lay, nude, on top of her sheets. At least while she was alone covering up was less of a necessity.

Though the constant feel of the air on her skin did serve to reminder of how she was stuck for the time being. She could only imagine what the Legends would think, finding her outfit strewn in pieces on the route from the bridge to her room.

God, she couldn't wait for them to find some solution to her problem.
