Wait a while

High up in the trees, you sit in wait silently, watching from behind some leaves that you seamlessly camouflage behind with your green scales. From the carriage, two adult men leave its safety to investigate the hold up, leaving a single person still inside the carriage. The coachman gets up and yells something back to them. You readjust your position to get a better look as all three begin to walk around to one of the wheels of the carriage. The back left one to be precise, it bends at about a 45 degree angle. That along with all the mud and you doubt they'll be going anywhere for awhile, which meant you had some time to plot.

Killing the horses could be a great way to slow them down but they'll make alot of noise which will reveal you. Once that happens, they might just make a break for it. They are NPCs after all, not adventurers, they will not hesitate to run instead of fight. Perhaps you can just rush them? Well there was three of them bunched together so that would be difficult. Maybe the environment can assist you?

You glance around to see some hanging vines from trees, there is quite alot of mud here and beneath carriage, some critters over there, oh and a damaged tree right there! It seems mostly hollowed out with holes all over the trunk but could most definitely deal some real damage if you dropped it upon them. IF, you managed to drop it on them. Not really many options to begin with so might as well right? Under the cover of night, you cross to the other side of the road where the tree is by scaling some branches that connect the two sides. Noone notices your looming presence as you get right above the men from your vantage point in the branches. You contemplate just leaping from above to smash into them, but decide to check the tree out. Coming upon the tree, it appears much larger than when you were further away. If you manage to strike the tree in a certain spot, you could still potentially bring it down.

"Time to get to work" you think to yourself as your jaw soaks in poison. You take the first bite and a pop up bar appears with the words "destroy" above it. This could really work! Using the poison in conjunction with your razor sharp teeth, you manage to speed through the entire twenty minute process. Of course, now your teeth has bits of bark and wood chippings inbetween but this will all be worth it. You notice the tree begin to buckle from your continued effort and make a quick dash behind the tree. Gearing yourself up, you crouch and leap onto it with all your weight. This manages to push the tree into the direction of the carriage and you hear the screams of terror almost immediately.
