Kingdoms/Nations

1. Benpa- Main kingdom with every kind of person, but native Benpions are most abundant and they have pale skin and are human. Many elves and golden-skinned folks are around due to the history of campaigns and capture. Elves are looked down upon. There is a mountain range, that houses plenty of mountain races (dwarves, gnomes, and orcs), but they remain mostly isolated.

2. Northly islands- ruled by lords and druids that aspire to meritocracy but fall short. Folks of all kinds are around. It is a popular place for folks of defeated lands, slaves, and minorities to flee when they face persecution and want to live a simple life.

3. Nantia- a SoS stronghold that has balanced that with royalty and industry. A kingdom defined by a fortified capital and surrounding villages. They are accepting of common humanoids (human and elf). Port city that is a giant of trade and struggles with piracy. Folks are mostly pale-skinned humans and elves. There are a large amount of darker skin humans and elves due to past campaigns. They are currently on a campaign to expand into the mountains and farms of Benpa due to the resources and farmland that will help support their growing population.

4. Quam- A desert land populated by brown-skinned tan folks with a range of pigmentation. Houses the greatest university known that allows for advanced sciences of all types. They have a famously disciplined and organized army. The area is characterized by 5 small kingdoms that work together as an organized unit since all the kings are of the same royal family. The land is violent and harsh with a strict criminal code. Although the university is very advanced in some ways, they endorse very strict methods to encourage performance.

5. Finfar- Olive-skinned folks with famous financial institutions. They have a king that is overshadowed by the banks. Often financially meddle in the affairs of other kingdoms if it has potential to turn a net profit. Land is characterized by beautiful coastal areas with cities and jungles with smaller communities.

6. Frefa- Very free land populated by very dark-skinned folks. Accepts all who arrive into semi-tribal communities that work cooperatively. Has jungles but limited sea travel. Cities are that are very sophisticated with giant spires that make the towers and cathedrals of SoS look like an amateur masonry project.

7. Jinpla- Populated by golden-skinned folks and has a very strict society on all levels with harsh punishments. The kingdom is moderately accepting and only moderately religious as viewed by Benpa, but they have alternative religions. Land is full of tropical jungles.

8. Southern Islands- characterized by volcanoes and tribal governments. Populated by a blend of folks from Finfar and Jinpla. Excels in trade but are targeted for exploitation by larger kingdoms.

9. Old King’s Isle= Isolated, rocky island with castles and elven ruins laced through castle. Used for royal summits, peace negotiations, and exiled kings.

10. Pirate Isle- Near Old King Isle between Nantia and Quam. Run by pirates. It is democratic but a isle of thieves. Anyone is welcome, but should be careful.

11. Crater Isle- Mysterious island with many monsters. A popular place for witches to gather. Many fugitive elves and other minorities flee here. The western side has mountains full of dwarves and gnomes. There are rumors a elf king has risen to unite the fugitive minorities and witches (mostly witchkin) who feel rejected from kingdom society.
