Visit Tschau

The majority of CEDIT agents tended to treat the office as an office, with a home somewhere offsite. However, for globe-trotters like the Goodbye Girls, even if they owned a house or a permanent residence, they couldn't spend a lot of time there; for that reason, they treated their spacious offices more like those were their homes. The design- with a front meeting room and a separate back room- allowed them to arrange their belongings so that the front could be used as a reception and work area, while the smaller back room could be used for sleeping and for private time. For now, it seemed you'd need to knock on the back door to summon Tschau.

Tschau's office was unlit and dark... it didn't seem like it had ever been used for office purposes. The design was much like a standard desk jockey's. She must live pretty sparse, if she could get by with just whatever personal effects she had hidden in her back room. A low light came from that room... almost like candle light. That seemed somewhat dangerous, but damn if you were going to warn her about it. You tried the light switch once, to see if it would happen to work... of course, it didn't. Whatever lights had been in here had burned out and never been replaced. The whole place smelled of dust... It was almost like a first line of defense before you could meet the ninja.
