Meanwhile, elsewhere in the Smashverse

"Bowser!" yelled Wario as he burst into the King Koopa's Smash suite. "We need to talk." Bowser sighed and pulled himself out of his oversized armchair.

"Fine, but be quick about it. It's getting late, and I have eight kids to individually tell bedtime stories to."

"You gotta help me get back at Daisy." Bowser raised an eyebrow.

"You ripped her dress in two and stole her underwear. I think that's the other way around."

"That only happened because she tried to taunt me! Taunt us! All I was trying to do was have a normal fight, and I get kicked off the stage because *she* tried to be coy? That's bull, Koopa. Now help me. You know I'm too dumb to think of a plan myself."

Bowser snarled as he prepared to fireblast the annoying anti-plumber out of his face, but then Peach's words ran though his mind again. Maybe what was under their dresses was, in fact, his business.

"Fine, fine, I'm in. But we do this my way, you pig."

"I swear, someone has it out for me, Peach," said Daisy as the two princesses were summoned to the stage for their next fight. Her knees wobbled beneath her blue dress, one of the six she had remaining, and her hands shook as she held them together for dear life. "Someone *wants* to ruin my life." Peach grabbed her hands to try and calm her down.

"Daisy, I promise, you'll be fine. This fight's on my castle. At least, it was until I donated it to the Smash team and moved into a better castle. We'll be safe here. And we're fighting Olimar and Pichu. No sharp blades, no fishing hooks, no giant teeth. Even items are turned off." Peach stretched a little as the intrepid commander and the electric mouse appeared on the far side of the castle. "The only thing you'll have to worry about is explaining yourself if we somehow lose against them." Peach gave a reassuring nod to Daisy as the match began.

Meanwhile, out of sight from the fighters and the screen, Bowser and Wario clung to the side of the castle.

"...And this is Peach's castle", said Bowser. "At least, until I trashed it so badly that she threw it out and got a better castle. After invading it so many times to kidnap Peach, I know every vulnerability it has.."

"Hahaha, you sneaky bastard. So, what's the plan?" Bowser grinned and waved around a bag of items.

"Our princesses are facing an inferior foe. I say we give them a little help to even the odds."
