There were no further arguments as Heather finished her preparations. Once ready, she reached into the bowl and drew out the first name.

"First up is Hannah in the master bedroom," she announced.

"Wait," said Ashley. "What room are we in?"

Heather replied, "You guys are in the lake room. You will find out your roommate in the last round of drawing."

Ashley still looked a little anxious about having to share with someone else, but said nothing further.

Heather reached into the bowl for the next name as the draw continued. Kurt was assigned to the bedroom next to the lake room, followed by Victoria to the last room. With that complete the second round of drawing began.

Hannah and Taylor shared a grin as Taylor's name was the next to be drawn. "Looks like I am forever stuck with you as a roommate," Taylor quipped.

"You know you like it," Hannah replied with a leer.

The next draw put Gavin in the bedroom with Kurt, which produced a thoughtful expression on the older boy, and a resigned one on the younger.

Finally, Heather drew Zack's name out of the bowl to end the second round. Zack could scarcely believe what was happening, as he was actually going to get to share a room with his crush. The fact that there would be a third person in the room with them didn't bother him at all. Well, if he had a choice he would of course choose Chloe as his other roommate, but of the remaining people only Lisa seemed to pose a potential problem.

Thankfully, that concern passed quickly as the Latina was drawn to fill the last spot in the master bedroom.

Heather smiled to herself as she then drew her own name for the lake room. "Don't worry, Ash," she told her friend. "I'll make sure you get your time alone."

"Please don't make me have to think about it," Madison replied.

Chloe was then chosen to fill the bedroom with Kurt and Gavin. Being with a guy she didn't know worried her a bit, but Gavin's presence reassured her. She smiled gently toward her good friend.

That left Madison to join Victoria and Zack in the last bedroom. While she would have preferred sharing a room with Lisa, sharing a room with Zack might be quite useful for her plan to get Zack and Lisa back together. After all, if her plan succeeded it would be easy to swap rooms with Lisa and let the lovebirds stay together.

As everyone began to grab their things to transfer them to their rooms, Kurt suddenly spoke up. "Anyone need a cot or sleeping bag? Maybe an air mattress? Gavin and I will go downstairs and grab them."

Gavin froze up and immediately became suspicious. While he wasn't against helping his friends out, being volunteered like that brought up some unpleasant memories, even if the one volunteering him volunteered themselves as well. His mind began trying to figure out what further burden the older boy was planning to put on him once they got downstairs.

Heather, who might have been concerned if her cousin had volunteered to go downstairs with one of her female friends, replied that she would take an air mattress as she tossed him the keys. Kurt caught them then looked around the room to see if anyone else would take him up on his offer.

"I'll take a cot," said Zack. Taking a bed and forcing one of the girls to find an alternative wasn't even an option for him, even if one of them wasn't his crush.

Taylor turned to Lisa, "The bed in the master bedroom is probably big enough for all three of us. Hannah and I certainly won't mind sharing."

"No," the younger girl replied. "I think I will take a cot as well." Like Madison, Lisa was harboring the thought of switching rooms with her friend if she managed to get back together with Zack.

"Two cots and an air mattress. Got it." With that Kurt began to head for the deck, pulling Gavin along with him.
