Shepard had been having a very good time. She was up and so far the card have been in her favor.

"And Shepard wins again." Tali groaned.

"What she lacks in dance skills she makes up for in luck." Ashley laughed.

"Shepard may be lacking in the dance department but if she could do that and all the other things she does then that would hardly be fair to the rest of the galaxy." Liara chuckled.

"You only say say because you're sleeping together." Jack spoke.

"And so are you and Lawson." Liara stated.

That made everyone stop.

"What?!" Ashley shouted.

"Keela did not see that coming." Tali chocked.

"Liara remember about keeping somethings to ourselves." Jane sighed.

"Oops."

"Fuck you Blue." Jack blushed

Miranda poured another drink. Her face red too.

"Alright enough og that." Kasumi was already planning to get a video of Jack and Miranda for later. "Lets raise the stakes for the next game."

"How so?"

"Liara has needed a subject for some important research into human response to stimulation." Miranda spoke. "Maybe we can wager who among us will be the subject."

"Great idea." Liara said. "All the humans will wager to be my test subject."

"Wait." Jack spoke. "What about you nonhumans? What are you wagering?"

"Winner get to decide." Liara shrugged. "The losing human has to be my subject but if a human wins then they get to pick a reward. Anything."

"Sounds fun." Ashley said.

"Fuck. Why not." Jack agreed.

"This better go well." Miranda mumbled.

The rest looked to Shepard. Her winning streak had her a little arrogant.

"Alright."

Unfortunately that was the plan. Now Kasumi looked to the rest as the card were dealt. Someones lucky streak was about to end.

And the rest knew it.

"To be safe." Liara pulled out a holodisk. "I want everyone to sign so there can be no backing out for the loser."

All of them picked it up and read it before signing. Shepard was last and it didn't seem to have any fine print. But it didn't let any room for negotiation for the loser. They had to do it or face penalties including servitude.

She reluctantly signed as she missed the smug look on the others faces.
