Verity's Presentation : Part One

The audience of girls who had not been on the African safari sat engrossed during Verity's presentation. It had been a prerequisite for participation on the end of term trip from the prestigious Swiss school that one of the girls produce a comprehensive survey of all that had happened. The principal and teachers sat there contentedly along with the girls as Verity showed expertly shot footage of wild animals in their natural habitat as well as colorful displays of Masai warriors dancing and mouth watering clips of the meals they were served.

"I wasn't going to bother showing anything concerning our trip home but it turned out to be quite eventful" Verity explained, while Barbara, Kim and Eloise laughed. The four girls had agreed that they just had to share the visual evidence of Rob's public humiliation at the airport. If it did not go down well with the principal it wouldn't matter, since there were only a couple of weeks left of their time at the school and they had already taken their exams.

"As you know, Ms. Collier had to stay behind at the lodge when poor Prudence caught malaria and could not travel. Unfortunately it was decided that we had to be chaperoned on the journey home, though why it was thought necessary for four 18 year old girls from St. Xavier's to be chaperoned is beyond me" Verity announced, to laughter from her audience.

"Anyway, that's how we came to be saddled with 'Mr. I Could Bore For England'." She showed a skillfully edited segment of Rob being grumpy and seemingly continually reprimanding the girls, which elicited good natured booing from all those watching. "You'll be seeing more of Mr. Grumpy later" Verity promised. "Much more !"
