Valley creates a plan for Susan

Susan is asked why she scores herself so lowly in the bedroom when everything about her is so impressively spectacular.

Susan struggled to answer at first but then said, “I can’t tell you the last time sex with my husband was fulfilling or even orgasmic. It’s never really been special despite giving me my wonderful kids, but now that he’s older he doesn’t even act interested in sex with me!” She began crying, “I am in great shape! I am a damn good mom and traditional wife, but my husband won’t even try what the hell is wrong with me?”

Valley shook her head and patted the redhead’s thigh, “someone that doesn’t understand you might tell you that there is nothing wrong with you, but I think there is a simple change we can make in your life that will improve everything for you in this situation.” Valley squeezed the exposed knee of her client and said, “I don’t think you have,” she uses finger quotes, “a ‘traditional’ husband, so I think you have to move past being a traditional wife.” Susan looked perplexed, “are you saying I should go back to work and not be the stay at home mom and house wife?”

Valley shook her head, “you don’t have to change that part of your life if you don’t want you to study these three values and see which one you want to explore on our next visit.
