Using the pool (Part 1).
After lunch (which was well received, I should say), we each went our own ways for a while. I was forced to excuse myself for at least a couple of hours because I needed to get some recording done to send to Isabelle. I’d been slacking lately with the new schedule and the new house and I just couldn’t push it back any further.
An unforeseen issue with moving from recording in my bedroom at home to the specialized music room here was that I didn’t have my PC. I had considered moving it here, but having it in the game room meant that Noelle and I could play games together while close to each other. Instead, I ended up borrowing Noelle’s spare laptop. It was a couple of years old but still a fairly powerful machine. She just didn’t use it much, so she let me borrow it to record.
Of course, Cake was with me. She’s the true star of the show, after all. I put a chair with a pillow next to me and she lay there, lower jaw on the pillow but years perked up. I had my phone set up in the tripod we’d gotten for this exact purpose, the guitar plugged to the audio interface and that connected to Noelle’s laptop in which I’d already installed all the software I needed.
I thank the stars that recording went smoothly. Sometimes I’m really just not feeling it and it takes an entire day, but I was able to have something decent in a little under an hour, but it helped that it was a metal cover of a video game song.
I had a bit of time to spare, though, so… I set everything up and began to record an original melody I’d been working on for a few weeks already. I wouldn’t call it a song, nor was it particularly complex… but it had yet to leave my head, and that was a telling sign that I had to record it. It ended up being just short of a minute but I still recorded it like ten times just to make sure everything went right.
I uploaded the files to our shared cloud storage when I was done and texted my sister telling her everything was ready. She’d edit it all into videos and post them in a week if not a few days.
I left the guitar on its stand, stood up from my chair and stretched my arms upwards. Cake, maybe realizing we were done, jumped out of her spot and stretched with me, even letting out a little yawn. I chuckled and kneeled to pet her for a bit before we went back down.
Even before going down the stairs I was already hearing movement and voices, like everyone was there, on the second floor.
“Oh, are you done?” Grace asked, seeing me walking down the stairs from just outside her bedroom. “We were going to wait for you in the pool, but if you’re free…”
I smiled. “Yeah, I just finished. And yes, the pool sounds nice.” I was then surprised to hear Fern’s voice coming from Grace’s room.
“Oh, it does fit,” she said, some surprise in her own voice.
I looked at Grace with a raised eyebrow. “Fern didn’t bring a swimsuit, remember? I had her try some of my bikinis since we’re about the same chest size.” She smirked at me. “Skinny dipping would’ve been fine, but we know you like bikinis.” I let out a soft groan, resigned to the truth of that statement and went to my own bedroom to put on my swimsuit.
Now, where did I put that thing? Funnily enough, I had yet to even use my own pool since I moved in. I’ve been so busy lately, and whenever I’m not busy… I’m usually having sex.
…
Maybe Mila’s right and my main hobby these days is sex instead of music or video games. I’ve certainly done that more than playing games or the guitar since moving in, and I’m scared to know the statistics on it for this last year.
Anyway.
It took me a while to find my swimsuit, but I did. I put it on, grabbed a towel and headed downstairs and outside. The air was ever so slightly chilly, but considering I could already hear the rucking inside the pool room, the water probably felt nice.
I opened the door and instantly felt the change in temperature. Not too drastic, but noticeable. It did feel nice, but what was even nicer was the sight of seven nymphs in bikinis inside the pool, swimming and jumping and laughing. Mila in sky blue, Grace in red, Sarah in purple, Alice in yellow, Noelle in teal, Diana in black and Fern in green. Almost color-coded for the fun of it.
Sarah noticed me, put her fingers in her mouth and whistled loudly in that flattering tone. “Finally!” she said.
“Wait, you can do that?” Noelle asked Sarah. “Every time I try to whistle like that I just fail.”
“It’s not that hard,” Sarah said.
“Yep.” Diana nodded, fixing her wet hair behind her ear. “You just put your finger in your mouth like this and…” She whistled at me, just like Sarah had.
“Come on, love. Jump in,” Alice said, smiling at me from just below me.
“Don’t mermaids lead men to their deaths, though?” I asked, faking hesitance.
“Death by snu snu, if anything…” I heard Fern muttering quietly, and Mila burst out laughing beside her.
I took a small moment as I took off my glasses, perched my towel on one of the pool chairs and looked at the big picture again. Just… looking down at it from above made my heart stir. If you took a picture of this and showed it around without context, these many people would make it look like a public pool that just happened to be hosting seven of the hottest women on planet Earth. But it wasn’t a public pool. It was our pool. And the seven hot women in there? They are my girlfriends.
Allow me a selfish, crude and maybe even caveman-like thought, but… Thinking that they were all mine, that I had sex with every single one of them, alone and in orgies… Like I said, it made my heart stir with some form of excitement. Try as I might to be a good person and a good boyfriend, I simply can’t deny that… I like this harem life.
I shook my head and jumped in with a shockingly competent dive. I don’t think it would come as a surprise if I say I didn’t go to the pool much, so I’m glad I didn’t flop into the water in front of seven girls.
