Use the shield of purity spell!

Mid rush you wave your free hand and recite the encantation Petra taught you. Suddenly there is a small flash of light and a shield manifests in your hand. It appears to made from divine light instead of the wood you are accustomed to. The orc releases her spell as the energy flies toward you. You put your full faith in Petra’s shield and raise it to block the spell.

The spell impacts and fizzles out on your shield! The shield disperses too but it has done its job! You manage to close the distance and strike her with your mace. You land a decisive blow to her shoulder as she jumps back.

You quickly close the distance and continue to swing but the orc is quick on her feet. She dodges each blow and an open palm strike to the chin causes you to back off. In this time she chants once more.

“Garag tilmir egurerath!” Her eyes flash with green energy which is then channeled into her left palm. This energy spreads like a glove over her hand as she squares up to re-engage.

No clue what that spell is. Should try an avoid her strikes with that hand!
