Use the laundromat and baths across the street...

"You can't be serious." Kawakami replied with a look somewhere between deadpan and incredulity. "Go across the street, like this, and then wash my clothes in that public building. Naked."

Joker nodded. "Unless you want to try washing yourself off in the bathroom stall sink, or the kitchen sink." he offered, pointing at the places in question. "Sojiro doesn't need a proper bathroom or laundry machine here when his house is a short walk away. How do you think I've been taking care of myself all this time?"

"That explains a lot..." Kawakami mused to herself while ignoring the small look Joker shot her way. "If that's really my only option... Y-you... you'd better stay put until I get back. If I even think you stepped outside after me-!"

"You have my word." Joker promised, holding up his hands in defense.

With a doubtful glare in Joker's direction, Kawakami stepped out of Leblanc and into the streets. The night was quiet and few people were around. Kawakami considered herself lucky as she made the quick run from the cafe to the small alleyway that housed the public laundromat and the bathhouse that apparently had been Joker's main source of hygiene since transferring here.

"Okay, Sadayo. You can do this." Kawakami told herself. "It'll be quick. Nobody's going to be making an emergency visit to do laundry at this time of night. You'll be in and out before you know it! You'll only have to spend a little while... naked... outdoors."

Trying not to dwell on the terrifying thought for too long, Kawakami went to the washing machine furthest from the door and quickly disrobed. One decent thing about the ridiculous maid outfit her part-time job **** her to wear was that it was rather easy to remove. Sure, that fortunate fact was intended for a more lewd purpose than easy laundry, but the specifics weren't important right now. The dress, stockings, and (with more than a little hesitation) Kawakami's undergarments were thrown in the machine. A few button presses later the machine rumbled to life, leaving Kawakami alone with the dull hum of the machine, the cool night air, and her own thoughts.

"Well, that's settled." Kawakami thought. "Since I'm already naked... maybe it wouldn't hurt to run into the bathhouse? It would be nice to get this dust off my body and out of my hair. But that would mean stepping out of this building, even if just for a second. And... crap! I don't have any money to pay!"
