Dago was pretty sure he’d come from the right already and he didn’t know where the left went, but the staircase looked like a good place to start exploring. He climbed the purple carpeted stairs carefully and headed down the hallway where he knew there were a few rooms. He knew there was a girl staying here with Lilith, some brat, from what he’d heard. He hoped he didn’t run into her.

He stopped when he picked something up coming from behind one of the doors. He thought it sounded a bit like… well, he couldn’t tell. It was someone speaking rapidly in Russian. There were some obvious pauses, like they were speaking on the phone.
