Unexpected acquaintance

Richard turned around to see who had approached him, his mind already coming to a conclusion, one he wasn't thrilled to find. As his eyes focused on the figure now standing but a few feet away from him, Richard felt his stomach turn, his guess had been right. "Eliza?" He spoke, looking the girl, or rather, woman, up and down.

"I didn't think you'd remember me professor... I'm glad you still do." In the hallway of Brightsdale College, right outside of his classroom stood the woman who had nearly cost Jean her job. The woman, who at the time had still been a student at the college, had been entangled in a passionate affair with her psychology teacher, which had nearly ended in Jean getting fired. Richard had scolded his colleague heatedly when he had found out she'd been sleeping with Eliza, a girl in her senior year at Brightsdale. It had only been after Richard had started seeing Brianna that he'd realized the nuances of such a relationship and had begun the feel regret for the way he had treated Jean at the time. Eliza, however, had turned out to be somewhat of an issue when Jean looked to end their affair, which she'd said had ran its course. Eliza had gone ballistic, threatening to out Jean to both the school and her wife. He wasn't sure how, but Richard knew that Jean had barely managed to talk her way out of it, her and Eliza parting about year and a half ago...

"Don't look so surprised Richard, can't a former student come and visit her old campus?" Eliza folded her arms into her side, staring at Richard intently. He noticed the way she said his name, as if to signify that now that she'd graduated there was no longer any difference between them. Her dark hair was braided in two long braids, hanging just passed her shoulder blades. Eliza was a fierce looking woman, her dark skin had a warm glow to it, though her eyes were striking, staring through him carelessly.

"No, sure. How can I help you Eliza?" A small smile formed on Eliza's full lips, as she readjusted her stance, pushing out one of her well built hips.

"Well the funniest thing happened... My best friend Angela, who I graduated with, her little sister still goes here, she's in her junior year." Eliza's eyes seemed to search him for answers, as if she expected Richard to recognize what she was about to say. "She's a sweet girl, a bit of a trouble maker, just like her sister. I've known her for a long time you know? and when I was talking to her just yesterday, I could tell there was something she wanted to tell me about, something she wanted to confess." Richard scratched his chin awkwardly, looking over Eliza's shoulder to see if anyone was listening in on their conversation. The hallway remained empty. "Now I'm not really the gossiping type," Eliza continued, "but the story she ended up telling did intrigue me very much. The thing is, Professor, I might've let slip to her sister about this little dalliance I had with a teacher, when I was still studying here. Now I don't think I have to go into details about that little romance, do I Professor? The two of you were always so close."

"Listen Eliza, I'm not sure what you're trying to get at, but as far as I'm concerned, It's got nothing to do with me." Richard had began feeling uncomfortable by the righteous tone in which Eliza spoke. The smile upon her face did not appear to be a happy one, nor was her posture very friendly.

"Oh but Richard, if you would've let me finish, you'd realize this has got everything to do with you..." Eliza crossed her arms over her chest, looking him eye to eye, Richard noticed that in the heels she wore, she was almost the same height as him. "Angela's sister must've caught wind of my little romance, Angela is a habitual gossiper, and when she heard, she was elated to finally have found someone who shared some common ground with her. Yesterday, Richard, my best friends sister confessed to me that she's also been seeing a teacher. But not to worry, she says she's having a great time, she says that he's handsome and a real gentlemen. She also mentioned that he's married, which she thought was perfect, as she just wanted to keep fucking him, nothing more." Silently Richard cursed, both himself and the situation he had put himself in. The little house of cards he'd built seemed to be experiencing an earthquake, he'd have to wait and see what the damage would end up being. "Do you have any idea who that student might be, Richard?"

Shaking his head Richard knew there'd be no point in denying it, Eliza apparently already knew exactly what was going on. "What is the point you're trying to make here Eliza? I have no time for your childish games nor the energy to spend thinking about this path of vengeance you seem to be on."

Eliza took a small step forward, laying a hand on Richard arm, squeezing it softly. "Vengeance? Who said anything about vengeance? No, I'm just here telling you all this because you are going to be helping me, Professor."

"Helping you with what exactly?" Richard asked, though he felt as though he already knew the answer.

"You are going to help me get my Jeanie back."
