Two days later!

The next day is wonderful, busy as always! Claire is as happy as usual, and when I get home from work, she's on her phone, giggling and chatting. I make dinner and we have a lovely meal!

"Sweetie?" She says as we're eating. "Vanessa is inviting me to the botanical garden! It's been renovated, and she says it's beautiful!"

"Oh, that's amazing! I've heard that garden is huge, so take lots of water and wear comfy shoes! When are you going?"

"Tomorrow. Maybe we'll have lunch there, and I'll be here after work. I promise I won't be late again!"

"You don't need to promise that! Although... Look, I'm not worried about you going out with Vanessa, but two pretty girls out that late... That might be dangerous."

"Oh... You're right..." There's a spark in her beautiful eyes. "Maybe... If it's any closer and it's getting too late... I should spend the night at Vanessa's place. Just so it's less risky... Do you like that idea?"

"Oh, that's a great idea!! That way you two are safe! I trust Vanessa to take good care of you until the next morning, haha!"

"Oh, she definitely takes good care of me..." She giggles and blushes, and immediately sends some messages. Probably confirming the friendly date with Vanessa!

The next day comes and I kiss my girlfriend goodbye as I go out. I'm so happy my girl has some plans for the day!

After that, I continue working as usual, and near the end of my shift, I receive a call. It's Claire!

"Hi, honey! How has the garden been?" I say with all my usual enthusiasm. I hear some gasping and heavy breathing.

"Ah, so big... Uhm... Hi, sweetie... Ah... It's been... amazing!"

"Woah, are you fine, Claire? You sound tired... Was the garden as large as they said?"

"Yes, huge! So big!"

"Oh, that sounds like a long walk... But did you two enjoy it?"

"Oh, yes! Definitely we are enjoying it!"

She sounds really happy. There is some kind of groan in the background, although I'm not sure what that is. Maybe the wind blowing throught the trees? Or maybe the people chatting behind?

"I'm glad! Honey, what's that? Are there, like, people nearby?"

"Oh... That's... Yeah, there are... lots of people here. Oh, gosh! I can't believe we are doing this in public!"

"What? Can't two girlfriends spend time together in the garden? It's just something cute and lovely, don't mind what others think!"

"N-no, it's just... they're not... looking at us. B-but they might... and... goodness..."

"I'd say: don't worry! It's just an innocent friendly date! Haha!"

"Y-yes. You're right. I just... Oh, goodness, it's just so good..."

"I imagine! Maybe next time I can go with you and admire the beauty myself!"

"Oh... I'd love that! Uhm... Vanessa wants to tell you someting, dear. Oh, gosh!"

"Hi, Dani!" I hear Vanessa's voice immediately after Claire's. "We're enjoying such a nice afternoon. Together" She also sounds a little tired, but since she's a physical trainer, she's in a much better condition than Claire. That might be why she hasn't gotten that tired from walking that much! "Your girlfriend has behaved so well. Such a good girl! And you know? I want to do something for you this weekend! Is it fine if I display my culinary skills for you two? I can bake you some pastries at your place! Maybe have a little slumber party the three of us? How's that sound?"

"Oh! That sounds amazing! Thank you!"

"No biggie. Good lord, it's so hot and wet..."

"Yeah. Normally gardens tend to be warm and humid. That's why I recommended drinking lots of water!"

"Haha! Yeah! You're awesome, Dani! I'll continue enjoying of your girl for some more before I take her home, sounds good? See ya!"

There was a brief moan in the background, and I could only imagine Claire finally sitting down on a bench, or something! It makes me really happy that both are having such a nice time.

And when she gets back home, Claire is so radiant! We kiss and have a lovely homemade dinner!
