Two-Face and his men are robbing Gotham First National Bank

The young vigilante was trekking from rooftop to rooftop listening to police scanners. It had been silent for a while, uncharacteristically so for Gotham, so Batgirl fully expected this to change at any second. As she anticipated, she finally hears some chatter over the radio that she could help out with. “10-90 at Gotham First National” she hears dispatch say over the radio, bank robbery.

It did not take her long to arrive at Gotham First National, she was only a few blocks away, and when she did she entered through an air vent to remain unseen. Through a grate in the vent once she’s more inside the building she is able to see the assailant and get a better idea of what she’s dealing with.

Standing on top of a desk in the middle of the large room is the former district attorney Harvey Dent, looking down upon his men, which number about six, barking orders. She smirks slightly, this will not be too bad at all, and with a bigger criminal like Two-Face put away she is sure to make a better impression on Batman, who will surely be more willing to accept her as a hero after this.

Exiting the vent through the grate, Batgirl lands on the ground gracefully between the thugs and the open vault, “deposit or withdrawal?” she asks in jest, smirking. “Batgirl!” a thug yells in surprise. The side of Two-Face’s mouth that can frown does so at the sight of her, “we were hoping for Batman but a bats a bat. Masks on boys!” he orders. All of the thugs and Dent himself pull on a gas mask as Two-Face pulls out a trigger and presses the button.

Batgirl tries to attack one of the thugs to take their gas mask, but gas is filling the room. Not only is it clouding her vision, but it is already causing her eyelids to grow heavy...along with the rest of her body. Slowly Batgirl falls to her knees, then the floor, before finally drifting off to unconsciousness.
