Twin Powers Activate!

The gust of wind caught John and Kim by surprise, making them unprepared for the punch that caught Kim’s face and the foot square in John’s chest. The power of wind that came from each hit’s connection launched John and Kim across the room. The twin that stayed back had at this point punched the ground, causing a fissure to crawl from her fist towards Kim. She was able to spot it and roll out of the way at the last second, as the earth where she had been exploded upwards.

“What did you do to cause these two to want to capture you?” Kim angrily questioned John.

“I don’t know! I haven’t seen these two before!” John reassured Kim, who did not believe John.

“Well you are their target for some reason, so you must have done something!” accused Kim as she got back up and rushed to assist John who, up until this point, had been doing nothing but attempting to dodge the wind fighter’s attacks.

“Miho, it seems the girl can understand us. We must eliminate her and continue with the extraction of the target,” said the twin in the back.

“As you wish, big sis!” exclaimed Miho as she stopped her onslaught on John and turned her attention to Kim, “She seems to be the stronger one, too, Mikuru. So let’s beat her up real good!” Miho said as she launched herself at Kim who was now ready for the quick fighter. Kim waited until the very last second and parried Miho’s punch, which caused the secondary wind punch to blast into the wall behind her. She then spring-boarded off a nearby chair to flip over Miho and unleash an energy wave with her foot as she came down that headed straight for Mikuru.

Mikuru quickly summoned earth to block the attack in the nick of time, but the **** of the blow caused the pieces of her earthen wall to fly at her, which made her stagger backwards.

“Are you going to cower in the corner or actually assist me?” barked Kim at a stunned John. He couldn’t believe how quickly and seemingly easy Kim was able to beat back the twins. But her words cut into John, who had done nothing helpful in this fight yet.

“Right, I’ll help!” declared John who used Charge to plow into Miho as she was preparing to attack Kim again. He followed with a Pommel Strike to her forehead, which caused her to scream out in pain.

Kim, meanwhile, had closed the distance between her and Mikuru, who had recovered.

“We will not be denied our prey!” shouted Mikuru, who summoned dirt around her fists and forearms to make earthen gauntlets. While not as fast as her sister, Mikuru clearly had superior strength, as it only took one of her punches to send Kim flying back, right into Miho as she was charging John.

“You ok, Kim?” John desperately asked his fighting partner. Her response was a groan as Miho got up and gave her a wind-powered kick to the gut.

“I’d go with no,” Miho let out a little giggle as she dusted herself off and walked towards John. He looked to his other side and saw Mikuru as she made her way to John at a steady pace.

“Shit,” just said under his breath. His health was currently at 93. Miho’s attacks may not be strong, but she could definitely kill him with a thousand cuts with her speed. He had spent 50 of his stamina, leaving him with only 32 to work with. He still had his charge of Second Wind, which gave him another 20 stamina to work with. None of my moves can defeat both girls and with 52 stamina left I can use two moves max, thought John as he tried to quickly figure out what to do. His time to think was cut short as Miho used her superior speed to launch a quick one-two strike that ended with her foot connecting with his head and the wind kick caused him to do a side flip as his side slammed into the ground.

“Ugh, no. I…I must fight…” was all John could get out as Mikuru reached down, grabbed the top of his cuirass, and lifted him up.

“You are now our property. I do have one question, if you would be so kind as to answer,” Mikuru began, “Why did you not use your fabled eyes against us? I thought that was your clan’s special ability?” she asked.

“Eyes? What are you talking about? I did use my eyes! That’s how I saw you and your fucking sister beat me and Kim!” John yelled at Mikuru, his anger building.

“Uh, sis, are you sure he’s the right one? Cause I figured he’d use the scary eye move by now if he was getting beat this bad,” Miho quickly cut in.

“Yes, you are right Miho. Maybe he is not the target. Either way, he could be of some use. I’m sure someone will want him as a mana battery. We’ll just have to stash him away while we continue our search for the main target,” decided Mikuru, who tossed John over her shoulder and began to walk away.

“Strike of the Silver Crane!” came the booming voice of Kim Moon as she unleashed a powerful ki based attack from her fist. The ki quickly morphed into a crane that charged at the twins and caught them both unprepared. The blast that was created when the crane struck Mikuru sent John into the air, who was quickly saved by Kim.

“Are you ok, John Newman?” asked a determined Kim.

“I’ve been better,” was all John could get out as he slowly rose to his feet after Kim put him down. John saw his sword a few feet away from him. He looked up to Kim who nodded at him and when she rushed the twins who were recovering from the attack, John made haste to get to his sword, and once in his hand, cast Charge with Mikuru as the target, the resulting stun after John rammed into Mikuru allowed Kim to unleash a flurry of anger fueled punches on the Japanese school girl, with John using Sunder Armor on her. Her clothes remained much to John’s dismay.

“MIKURU! NO!” screamed Miho, “NOW YOU’E GONE AND MADE ME MAD!” said the girl as a tornado began to form around the girl, “YOU WILL PAY FOR THAT!” the power of the tornado sucked up all the tables, chairs, and anything else that wasn’t bolted down. John quickly stabbed his sword into the ground, with Kim grabbing a hold of the sword as well. Miho was at the eye of the storm, as it continued to grow.

“This is bad!” Kim yelled over the howling of the wind.

“We need to stop her somehow!” replied John, whose health and stamina were in no condition to continue this fight for much longer. And he guessed that any of those pieces of school equipment smashing into him would cause him to lose the remainder of his HP.

“I agree sister, let us deal with these two troublesome individuals,” said Mikuru as she got up from the floor, blooded. The tornado made an opening for her as she made her way next to her sister. It was at that point the tornado gained large chucks of earth in it. The pieces slammed into the school equipment and sent them flying all around Kim and John, whose sword was slowly being dragged into the raging earthen tornado.

“NOW, WITNESS THE TWIN POWERS OF THE ASAWAKI ASSASSIN TWINS!” the twins shouted in unison.
