I yawn and stretch my legs out under the covers. I feel suspiciously well rested, which probably means I'm late for whatever is on my plate today. I rub my eyes open and sit up from under the covers.

I realize a few things, all at once:

1) This is not a bed. These are not blankets. I am resting in a large coffin filled with animal furs.
2) I am not human. My skin is as pale as paper, and night-black scales pepper me, especially around the shoulders and thighs. I have a fucking tail and can feel horns on my head.
3) There is an angel in a crop-top in bed next to me and I really, really want to drink his blood.

It catches me so off guard that I can't even panic. I'm just confused. When did I turn into a half-dragon? Well, no, a normal dragon would not be this pale and would have a heartbeat. I'm a vampire dragon, not a -

Ah, right. Melanoche. Carnachias. There was a deal. That's Ariel still sleeping next to me, and I definitely throat-fucked in while half asleep last night. I chose to be a vampire dragon because the stats were ridiculous.

God's Eye gives me a few more paragraphs of info on myself, but I remember the general line of thought I followed. I min/maxed, as I rather enjoy doing. Doom for the defense-piercing, Draconic and Undead for the best stat bonuses, Light and Fire Infusions to cover an Undead's weaknesses. Love Humanity doesn't apply to my enemies, and Eradicate the Dark doesn't specify whether I'm defeating the Dark or taking it over. And why wouldn't I want to have such an adorable angel helping keep me alive?

Speaking of, I wonder what his stats are like?
