Tschau will be the field commander

You told them all that you wanted Tschau to be the field commander. It was hard to say why... after all, the ninja was crabby and furthermore addicted to her phone, even to the detriment of her own missions. However, you felt that if you put her in this position of importance, perhaps she'd be motivated to treat her mission with the appropriate gravity. Furthermore, her sense of justice at least stood out among the others, who sometimes seemed like they were in it for the fun of it all.

"... Y-You're making me the leader?" She sounded more than a little surprised and, for a moment, like an embarrassed child, who the teacher had just praised for her highest-in-the-class grade.

You affirmed that was correct.

"... Don't think that means you get to blame me if everything goes wrong. I can't be held responsible for the actions of these other maniacs..."

Stretching the limits of your grace, you managed to avoid telling Tschau that she was about as eccentric as they were. Instead, you urged her to please avoid using her phone in this position.

"Wait, I've got some things I have to do first then. Don't name me commander yet, not until the next three minutes pass."

You groaned to yourself while Goodbye patted your shoulder sympathetically. You appreciated the the gesture, until you noticed that she was also pointing towards the off switch on comms. She was trying to get your attention so that the two of you could return to speaking privately.
