Try to reason out

Mara dodged on instinct, then reached out to tap his shoulder, hoping to calm him so she could explain. The instant her fingers made contact, a powerful cold rush pulled her forward as her mind went blank. When she regained her consciousness, Mara found herself inside the adventurer’s body. She could feel his racing heart and the sword still gripped tightly in her hand.

The voice returned, gloating in her thoughts. Mara answered desperately using the adventurer’s voice, “Wait, bring me back! Please! I don’t want this! Send me back to my world, my body!” The voice offered no reply to her plea. Instead, it’s suggesting Mara that the adventurer’s body is now hers, and that she will need it for this world. As the voice fell silent, Mara’s mind is swirling with shock and confusion. Everything happened too fast, and now she is in an unfamiliar world in an unfamiliar body.
